I'm hearing from a lot of different people that the change did not go so well for the company on Sunday.
Nobody went to Maybrook! Hagerstown is 20-30 short as is Columbus.
Sources also tell me that almost nobody left Dallas and that some told the company over the phone to pound sand. (Putting it nicely)
Now hearing that Overland Park is having meetings all this week about this and that the change might not go through.
Anybody else hearing anything? Recieved mutiple phone calls from different areas of the country so I know so I know that this is not just another rumor.

I participated in the phone bid, only heard one protest, wasn't the pound sand type. Yes Hagerstown is way short, Columbus had nine spots left on the road out of possible twenty seven, a couple did leave Dallas. What surprised me was relative new hires able to get into Florida.

Nobody went to Mayberry 123 ,because it was a -1

They had a preshift and as I hear it. It's gonna a happen.
Throw it at the wall and see what sticks!
We are losing... I don't really know. But what we lose we are supposed to gain from Dallas.
Whoever cannot hold there will have to bid here. 525.

Given the average age of the workforce the company can run your old ass off and call it a COO! I think after the merger they realized just how a hard lay off works to clean house and divide the workers!

Maybe? But what is the progression now? A year? You guys are already the cheapest labor force in LTL. If they need that savings to show a profit, that's beyond pathetic.

And I'm sorry. I don't mean to be an ******* on your board. I'm a former Yellow employee, and I wish nothing but the best for you guys. But it is what it is at this point.

I recently looked up the quarterly net profit for YRC. This past quarter, you guys profited $100,000 net.

That means if you had just two more employees, you would have been in the red.

Meanwhile, you are being paid 85% of your wages, and 25% of your pension.

It doesn't look good.

When you say that YRC would have been in the red if they had two more employees you've neglected to account for the potential additional revenue brought in by those two employees. Not a rigorous analysis in my opinion.
