Yellow | What does a rehire get if they had 5 years with the company?

you get nothing. you go to the bottom of the seniority board work your 30 days and look up at all the senior men. the only thing you could be eligible for is that if you worked for a nmfa carrier in the preceeding 2 years you would only have to work 1 year at 95% and then in year 2 go to full rate.
You’re wrong
If you go from one Union company to another after 90 days you go to full scale

So telling the TRUTH is showing what colors ? what color's are you talking about ?

Your true colors? Your petty, spiteful, resentful opposition to new hires in some cases being started out at full pay just because you went through progression when you started. Is it clear now?

By now the absurdity of your comments shouldn't surprise me but sadly it still does.

It was in 1957, my first year in Teamsters.

In the fall of 1957 I was starting my senior year of high school and loving the music of Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Five Satins, Sam Cooke, The Crickets, etc., and the company of some great looking freshman and sophomore gals.

PS - If I'd known back that some day I'd be dealing with Wong on TB I'd have avoided going into trucking altogether! :hide:

I was listening to the same good music, Jerry Butler, Platters, Drifters, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, I was just chasing older women.
I knew when I was 12, I was going to drive a truck, thought it would be for Roadway, Johnson Motor Lines or Akers.
In Charlotte they were the big dogs, along with Central Motor Lines and Pilot, but all ran sleepers.
Got on with RTL and couldn't have made a better choice, single operation, south end.
As for Wong, put him under Dave's hat and let him simmer, don't keep him under too long, after all, he's BRG Patel's
