XPO | Where is all the equipment ??

I'd like to see the sign out front changed. I think the Carlstadt NJ sign says XPO. That's the only one I've seen.

Received 2 new xpo city auto's recently. Add the 4 new Conway city auto's we've received within the past several years and that brings our total to 6 new city units. Just received our 1st new auto L/H unit today. Apparently corporate is eventually going to replace all manuals, both city and L/H, w/ auto's. Sure hope they eventually get an auto straight job here too. The one we currently have, as a manual, is a bucking bronco. The clutch is messed up. Drivecam turns solid red just bucking it's self to the fuel island. This truck is awful and needs to be scrapped.

got 3 new tractors last week
 
We are short trucks too, guys actually stay home and don't work cause we don't have enough tractors. We are a trucking company!!!! Hello????? So sad

They would call in the flex board late even though they had loads there for them because they did have a truck to give them. It great service when you leave the yard at 1pm with 6 stop and the one in the nose is a 12:00 appt.
 
Since we were renting 2 trucks from Penske one of our district mangers found one of those great high powered 478-xxxx city sterling. They paid a 3rd party to bobtail the truck all the way from Conn. to Southern Pa (that poor bastard). Two days later the dispatcher sent me out to go over the truck and said it was overheating. I went over the truck and filled all the fluids, and used it to jockey and then wrote up everything I saw that need to be fix and turn it in to dispatch. Lets put it this way I ran out of room on the 8300 and need a separate piece of paper. The had a LH drive take to our shop, they took one look at the list and the truck and did not fix a thing, took the stickers off and park it in the bone yard.
So you really what to know were the equipment is, go look in the shop and the bone yard. They took a truck out of the bone yard and dumped tons of money into it, left the Con-way stickers on it and gave it to my barn to use. 2 days later it was OS.
This just shows what they wasted on 2 trucks makes you wander how much more of this is going on in the company. I sure that money would have been better to use towards a new truck.
Write everything up, put it OS, in one day I put 5 rental trailers and 2 truck OS and man the boss hated me but I don't care. I look at it this way if they don't wanted to keep updating the equipment and replace this tired out junk the they can spend the money of fixing this old tired out equipment.

Exactly! That's how it is now. That's the crap the drivers have to deal with. Come in do a few stops then come back and do a full run that's an hour away with 10 stops plus pick ups. A lot of customer complaints this past year
 
I took a road trip recently, and saw several XPO sets being pulled by shiny new Kenworth XPO trucks. Funny it hasn't been mentioned here. :shift:

I was brought up, repeatedly. The Kenworth Plant is here is south central Ohio. Seemed all them trucks went west. Or at least a bunch of them. We didn't get a one.

I see them coming up from the southern barns. I have not seen any in the NE
 
XQC got 15 or more at the start of this year. The guys like them ,but little cramped for taller guys
