Estes | New rumors!!!

Honestly though the only thing I heard of was technology advancements. Utilizing Peoplenet better. Such as self dispatching and pay roll. Basically trying to catch up with the Jones’s.

Also rumors of California LH drivers going hourly and runs being modified. Though these rumors have been going around a couple of years now and management knows nothing about it. Personally I’m shocked management knows nothing.

Not in California, but according to management here they're modifying a bunch of runs at my terminal next bid. Some laydowns becoming meets and some more day schedules added. Maybe we'll eventually start utilizing equipment better and eliminate a ton of hotel costs. Microtel and Days Inn would file chapter 11 if we ever got smart.

Yeah I could see them doing away with layovers. At least most them. They would need to hire more drivers, and that right there is an issue.

hopefully they will up the drop or hook pups from 7.50 that is a joke lets catch up with the rest this is a joke needs to be doubled it been this for what 20 years

How many times have I been told to find an empty in the yard and it takes an hour, all for free? Answer countless. How many hours do we sit waiting for free? Answer countless. Raising the drop and hook pay to 15 is not absurd. not gonna happen but not absurd. Company's are paying 09.50 for dropping and hooking 53 s.
