Honestly though the only thing I heard of was technology advancements. Utilizing Peoplenet better. Such as self dispatching and pay roll. Basically trying to catch up with the Jones’s.
Also rumors of California LH drivers going hourly and runs being modified. Though these rumors have been going around a couple of years now and management knows nothing about it. Personally I’m shocked management knows nothing.
Not in California, but according to management here they're modifying a bunch of runs at my terminal next bid. Some laydowns becoming meets and some more day schedules added. Maybe we'll eventually start utilizing equipment better and eliminate a ton of hotel costs. Microtel and Days Inn would file chapter 11 if we ever got smart.
