Actually, when are they going to take better care of their terminals and equipment in general. Everything is so dirty including forklifts, bathrooms(ancient tile, faucets, etc..) asphalt all jacked up.

In the communication video, they said all dolly's to be replaced by the end of Q1 2018.

Funny you should mention the condition of the trailers. I was parked next to an XPO truck at a dock today...several bent bars up above (Yikes!), the strap storage rack was torn off, and there was no Saf-T-Stack bar tool anywhere.

Most are like that. Poor design.
 
did away with soap at my place just water to clean off bugs from w/shield. don't wont bug sh** washing into sewer but does management realize that it is canal water we are using which is dirty to start with? also beyond fence and behind trees is a dump so what difference does it make? just so the higher ups can claim they r going green........ paleeeeeeze

Yep. Our Indy safety mgr took away Dawn & washer fluid. Can't go down drain. I don't get it either. Dont they wash oil spill animals in Dawn?

What is the answer to all the leaking grease seals on trailers, gasket leaking fluids on the motor & tranny in a class 8 truck? And they ALL do leak, some more than others. Let us not forget the convertors / dollies. When it rains on top of the 5th wheel, how do you prevent the now greasy rain water from running in to your sewer drain? Just wondering about the obvious. von.
 
Washing equipment? I hope fixing the Christmas light display on the dashes of these Cascadias would take precedence. I mean, who doesn't like riding the hook?

Not sure why you are still here. If you think you are underpaid and driving trashy trucks go find a better job. No one is making you stay. I am linehaul. Run is 490 miles. Plenty of dock time and via's. Money is great and i keep my own truck clean. If you choose to stay here, and it is your choice, quit your bich_en and do what you can can to make a better workplace environment.

It’s sucker666’s opinion that the union will make for a better workplace environment.
