ODFL | Driver backs set to dock

when i worked line haul nights, there was no time to do that, as all the other line haul drivers were coming in. no patience to wait, just as if one was backing into a spot at a truck stop.

I always break my trailers. I ain't gonna be caught backing no set when the safety man appears out of nowhere. Best to just do it the right way the first time. Work going to tell me how it's done and I'm going to do it.

Hahahaha. Interesting, I might know who it is. Notice how the tractor number is obscured. Hmmm.

You don't have a clue, don't waste me time. It's too sunny at this domicile for it to be anywhere you run.

Didn’t say it was where I go. But I meet a fine selection of driver’s from down south. It looks like someone, didn’t say for sure. So don’t waste my time with useless dribble. Y’all must be kicking out the freight. Lot’s of trailers coming up lately.

Never backed a set before. I've never had the misfortune of driving a two axle daycab, and it's all but impossible to do with anything else.

I did back a gear once though, when I was at FedEx. I was dropping my back box and swapping for an empty right next to it on a Saturday morning in a yard full of snow. It was a heck of a lot faster backing the gear than dropping it, dropping my lead, repositioning the gear and rehooking everything, plus I stayed warm in the cab and out of the wet snow.

This guy is out of Sacramento and the video was posted in August earlier this year, he also posted one with him backing a lead trailer and a dolly to the back box
