FedEx Freight | Overtime should be regulated per person not group???

I think everyone's got no idea what's going on here. This isn't a rant, it doesn't provide any context or evidence to support the claim, and to some degree I don't think anyone cares.

superwallet71, you're going to have to provide a bit more than what I perceive to be a very brief gripe about brown nosers that apparently has something to do with OT.

What is it you're complaining about, here? Are you mad that you're not getting any OT? Are you getting too much OT while others are being allowed time off and you want a break? Provide some context if you want more than people laughing or being confused. There are a LOT of opinions on here and you've managed to universally confuse everyone.

Sheeeeesh. Ok. I'll try.
Per person? Or group?
Ok, if one person has 9 1/2 hours on the clock and another has 7 1/2 and they approach dispatch window and dispatcher has another assignment, I think the guy with less hours on the clock should get it no matter who has more seniority.
If guy with more hours on clock was in yard a little earlier and he wanted to go back out, then send him out.
There can be many variables to this scenario. Closing times etc. but generally this is how I see it.

Group? I don't get it. Maybe my hat is on too tight. A bunch of younger new hires? Are they shown more favoritism in your yard? I can't relate cuz our number 1 and 2 guys on city driver list have 40 years in. I'm number 9 on list with my 28.
We did hire 4 new young guys and a couple dock workers moved up but they got crappy start times and work dock.
And if any snow flakes got hired? They will promptly be given a trailer party...:1036316054:

But your hat always gets to the scanner 10 minutes before you, so it has more time than you.....

I step out for a minute and I get attacked for speaking my mind by a bunch of snow flakes that want proper statements..I was just venting so grow a coin purse... or do I have to be politically correct here too???:mf swordfight:

No need to be pc, but if you make a thread complaining about something at least explain what your talking about so we can understand what the hell your talking about.

Agreed. We're about sharing opinions, so the way I figure it is this: if you're gonna use a public forum to vent about something, you should expect feedback. So at least present your rant in a coherent way, otherwise the feedback will just be negative and focused on how incoherent your rant is.

People vent here all the time. And they always draw all kinds of opinions. Not everyone agrees. We argue in massive flame wars here all the time over matters of opinion. But CT here is right, at least try to make sense.

NO, you don't have to be politically correct; however, if you continue to insist on being passive/aggressive, you will get torn a new bunghole routinely.

An example of being passive/aggressive? My wife has a friend who posts on Facebook "OMG this is terrible". That's it. End of post. She then waits for everyone to post a zillion questions about what's wrong, before telling everyone what's actually up, which is usually nothing.

Tell us what's on your mind, you'll be treated as an equal. Play the passive/aggressive card, you'll get trashed all day and all night. Of course, I digress, maybe you enjoy being trashed.

Oh, RC and the rest of my assorted hooligans are perfectly fine with the passive/aggressive thing. Thrashing is good sport.
