Yellow | The Change

The company manipulates all numbers. And wants rumors to be spread.
And I hear them all the time.
It's a dictatorship (company). They don't like a city in their country (Dallas) and go in and shut it down because they see people have power over them.
Tough :::shit:::. Right? (to the company)
I don't like it any more than anyone else.
If you don't work there you can't say.
I work close but not there.
And management is trying hard as hell to get around you.
I'm not gonna cooperate. They can put all they want at our barn. We can't move it all.
They are doing it.
Starting with Waco's crappy outbound.
P. S.
They want a workforce that will suck up and work for them?
Give us our full retirement. It'd be like rats leaving a sinking ship.
We don't want to be in that :::shit::: hole anymore.
But we are really forced to. We used up our best years there.
Nobody wants to hire 60-70 year old men. They made it this way. So we cannot leave. All broke down with health problems.
Give us our retirement we were promised. We will leave peacefully.
Lay some pipe. At least you guys are standing up to the a**holes and their BS.
Who took your retirement?

Mmmm.
Let's just say some.of it.
No one took it.
Apparently it was lost somewhere.

That's all you got out of the post?
Interesting.

Looking like the "big change" is another big dud!!!! 2500+ plus behind at 511
Just guessing that 2500 behind is is a bunch of dumb a***** screwing the company. Can't wait to meet them in the unemployment line. XPO is moving 7 bills an hour in Dallas compared to YRC dock at 1.70.

If xpo is moving 7 bills an hour, either it’s all floor loaded on skids or they have a sweat shop

No they just don't extend every lunch and break, they aren't found sleeping in the back of sleepers on the drop pad and they don't have a POS BA defend them every time they get caught. Imagine a workplace where employees try to do everything they can to service the customer instead of making their BS local 745 proud.

Interesting post.
Serious.
No sarcasm. Intended.
Top to bottom.
YRC seems doomed to failure.
I could go on. But as you will read. People do not want the truth be told.

Thanks for the feedback. The good news is we still have locations busting their tail to make it work. I'd love to bring the Maybrook or Buffalo employees down south to help. They are literally running 4-5 bills per hour and wear company T-SHIRTS to show their pride.

The new company mouthpiece?
Wait until 2019. You're going to find out real quick how much the company loves you!

Have you ever considered switching facility managers once in a while to see if your right that The labor is the problem ? Not intended to be sarcastic but maybe the Maybrook and Buffalo managers are just better at motivating their people than the Dallas manager.and I know we should not need much motivation to do our jobs but some people respond differently to different management styles.

Dallas has a new manager every two years or less. I'm not that smart but just thinking the company keeps trying but local 745 just enjoys a good fight. I would only suggest to local 745 that they can keep screwing the company but just remember they have aids. See where that's going?

I know nothing about Dallas other than what I read here. I was just asking.

It's the worst DC in the company and the turmoil is way beyond the imagination. The local thrives on disrupting the operation with walking stewards that slow it down 24/7. It's also the most ⓇⒶⒸⒾⓈⓉ local in the union which fails to represent any black employees. IE...white local favorite chasing a black new employee into a trailer and the black employee is fired and upheld. The white guy gets nothing but back pay (R Stockemer). The place is filled with hatred between races and heritage's because of the white Yellow local. Employees are are actually threatened for working too fast and threatened if they don't donate to the sick and lame fund collected by stewards and alternates on company time (Luke, Carlos and Ray). The company is aware (documented by recording) but afraid to investigate (M Lilly, L Stephenson, H Anthony) All documented by a team of current & former employees building their case with another group that has already presented a class action lawsuit for racial discrimination.

Maybrook and buffalo had brutal managers . Til they were let go in march . But those 2 terminals service Canada and without it they would not have jobs . Ours competition runs the Canada freight threw Detroit as we don'. So it more about keeping there jobs

taking their money, should still try to work, it is a moral obligation. bad management produces slowdowns through stupidity, micromanagement, and putting non-essential rules above productivity/profit, and massive letter campaigns. seen it all through many years, we never allowed slowdowns, with 2 exceptions. tm gave 160plus letters a month to 80 guys, equal numbers of grievances filed, management changed out. repeated challenges to fight, punitive and constant rebids produced a slowdown with no leaders, executed on a previous drunken tm.

Heard them fellas down in Dallas are raising the bar again good for y'all probably the only real teamsters left.. Yrc lies cheats steals fks you over time and time again year after year and most you guys bend over and take it in the ole brown hole with your head down in between Welchs legs saying give it to me daddy more give backs more screwing people out a job more taking from the working man fk all that that's why I left for greener pastures with a soon to be 12cpm more after first of year but my hats off to them guys in Dallas I heard what's going on and it's about time a group of people stand up and take a stand and once again it's them Dallas fellas

Who took your retirement?
local 992-retirement basically frozen since 07, prior to freeze 25&out/2500, 30&out/3600 any age.now wait until 57 or 62 and get 9.75 multiplier, not collectible until 62.. money is frozen in essence, what you had in 07 is all you can collect at 57. remember 18 months of no contributions from yrc.

company must make money in a way that cant be hidden, which is why I work, weigh freight, etc, so that we can get something moneywise and retirement wise in 2019.

we had a utility guy here that is 67, his retirement is fubared.

if you are in a local with great retirement, good, otherwise don't be stupid. central states is an unending drama
