Are we all welcome to attend these negotiations? Who's attending to insure that these negotiations remain above the table?
 
You've got to write the TNFINC .....no phone or e-mails........registered letters only..........They will respond within 12 weeks with a gold-embossed three layer printed invitation and seating pass good for one session only. Parking will be validated. Reservations should've been made by April 1st, 2013,.....and will be accepted on a "first come, first served" basis,.......starting with the postmark date.

"Special Guests" of the Negotiating Committee will be seated before all others. Make your..."donation"..early, to get the plush reclining armchairs at the front ringside row of the gallery. Beverages will be served,...Tipping required......20% surcharge.......No Refund....No Recording devices,....No Cell Phones,.....No I-Pads,....No LapTops......No Paper,.....No Pens....#2 Lead Pencil only, subject to Committee Approval......

I'm confused, are you talking about the 15% cut at YRC? Ours was 7% if I recall correctly, and we did finally get back to where we were 5 years ago (and just barely above), this July. The vacation thing is a definite issue for me. Between that and being one of the lowest paid ltl carriers, there is less and less to like about working here. They are shuffling more and more work to Panther and other outside carriers because we "can't" make service. Since we no longer have a NMFA, our negotiators should all be ABF. If they come from other companies, they may have other agendas than the best interest of the ABF rank and file.

agree...with all the pay cuts...hard to keep the straight...I do like the idea of ABF only negotiating for ABF...provided we have some "strong" Teamster negotiators that have the best interests of the rank and file in mind...ArcWorst is not hurting!
