Career Ending Operation???

UPDATE: Oct. 10, 2017

well this is a fine how do you do moment.

i HAD an appointment for P/T today (Tuesday Oct 10) but when i get there, i am told i was discharged last week, after my evaluation.

when i had left there last week, i told the gal in the office that i will see you next week for my last visit, till i see my doctor later in the month, all i got was an "ok".

absolutely NO ONE CALLED ME to tell me not to show up. they HAD the remainder of thursday, and ALL of friday to call me, and NO ONE EVER DID.

so now although i have to visit my surgeon in 2 weeks, i will be doing nothing for P/T.

but i can assure you I WILL BE talking with the owner of that P/T place when the time is right.

i will POINT OUT TO HER, that MANY TIMES i'd hear HER SAY, how rude it is for some clients to not show up, and NOT call them to cancel.

i will GLADLY REMIND HER, HOW RUDE IT WAS TO NOT CALL ME AND TELL ME NOT TO SHOW UP.

i can assure you, i have the balls to mouth off.

then if i get more P/T time from my doctor, i WILL SEEK out another P/T place, and MOUTH OFF also to the former trucker buddy of mine, that RECOMMENDED THAT PLACE.!!!

you know, simple, basic consideration is always in order. sadly some business owners still don't get that concept, but if you wrong them, how fast the talk about YOU...!!!!!!

so i did some google searching on p/t places. my sis went to one and i called then made a visit a short time ago. i got to explain some things to that gal i spoke with earlier.

i told her that i have to wait and see what the doctor says in a couple of weeks. it was recommended that i call him sooner to get me in, but i can wait the 2 weeks.

i told her that the other place never told me i was discharged, and how rude that was to me, as i showed up every stinking day at the very least 30 minutes earlier if to just sit and wait in the.......waiting room!!!

Medical practices obviously do not give a shiite about Patients as some, like me, show up early because the practice suggested such, yet after checking in and waiting, usually 30-60 minutes, they get all fussy when asked "So just WHEN is a (specified time) appointment today?"
Their usual response: "Well the doctor is running behind (a turtle) and will get to you as soon as possible". Those people refuse to volunteer such info, but gosh if you're more than 15 minutes LATE, they want to charge you some "late fee AND reschedule" so go figure.
I've done such questioning with most medical practices and will continue.
If they overbook, then we should make another appointment, to WAIT longer?

Like with about everything else, it's "Hurry Up And Wait"!!

i was talking about going to the p/t place nearly if not always 30 minutes earlier than my appointment, and sit quietly in the waiting room watching the tv. some times, if another client was running late or cancelled, since i was there earlier, they took me in, that was good.

it's the ironic part, that the owner was talking to her secratary about some people not showing or calling to cancel, not informing HER. well she was just as bad as not informing me, i was discharged the same day as my eval since i failed, and yet, had ONE MORE DAY to finish.

she's gonna not only get an earful, but a facebook full as well, when i eventually start at the other place.

She'll get and I'm sure has fully received all the unsatisfyingly rewarding recognition she has so justifiable earned.
It's always a PLEASURE to give people that which they deserve: a oral Berating.
Enjoy!
CHEERS!!

I know one or more of my online friends will miss me as I just recently put in to DELETE both my faceborg and twitter accounts.
Didn't like those sites so a wee bit of online weight has been terminated.

well tomorrow Monday Oct 23, i go see my surgeon for the first time since my June operation. i have much to tell him regarding the continued pains and numb left foot, and the unexpected discharging of me from physical therapy.

i'll be back sometime in the afternoon, to update on what's new or going to happen. i should point out too, my lawyer goes to court Monday as well to either get the approval for the new MRI or another denial. then the fight if needed, continues.!

well appointment was cancelled till this thursday, doctor had an unscheduled surgery today.

well some more news, today in court, my lawyer got the new MRI approved!!

when i see the doctor on thursday, he will get that news, unless the lawyer already faxed something over.

just got a call from the doctors office he has at the hospital. they got the MRI approval there and the gal there called into the MRI place to see if they can take me in tomorrow morning, so that i can have that MRI in my hand for thursday when i see him.

however, if the MRI place does not respond or cannot fit me in, the doctors office will just have to reschedule me again.

she said too that she gave the insurance adjuster "what for" for playing games, she HAD ALL the information right in front of her, but could not find what was written..?????

everyone knows it's all a game.

which is why YOU NEED an attorney that specializes in workman's comp.

otherwise, to do all this crap on your own?

you'd end up taking the fast way out, with money, but still in pain and not healed of your injury, or in dire need of surgery. cuz you ain't got the time to play thier games.

i got all the time in the world...to play thier games.......

.

UPDATE: OCT 24, 2017

ok, so i finally get a call from the surgeons office. the MRI is scheduled for the 30th of this month and the doctors appointment is for Nov 3 rd.

the MRI place could not take me tomorrow, it was not enough time to schedule that.

only now the 3rd time the surgeons appointment has been rescheduled.....

UPDATE: OCT. 30, 2017

jesus h. christ.

so i go for my MRI today.

there was no order for the contrasting dye just an "ordinary" MRI.

so i lay there on that table, going thru the MRI, an OPEN MRI at that, thank god.

so i finished my MRI, then was told go on home, when they get approval for a contrasting dye MRI, they will call me.

so i get home, the answering machine had been flashing since about 10 minutes AFTER i left the place.

so now, we had some fierce winds and rain here. that location is semi-with out phone service.

they called me to let me know they got the approval, but i cannot call them for the next appointment!!!!!!

so i had to call another office they have and thru thier computer, i got another MRI, with the contrasting dye for tomorrow late afternoon...oh joy....rush hour traffic BS.

now, here' yet another joyous phone call i got just minutes ago actually.

the surgeons office called....

i still go this thursday, but instead of 4 PM, they wanted to know if i can be there for 1 PM......

ok i say, i can be there. but many times now, i go there for an appointment, and i sit and wait.......and wait...and wait......

i could actually be there till the 4 PM appointment.......

life is wonderful, when you have all the free time in the world to mess around.......i say that with as much sarcasm as i can.

PS, i looked at my recent MRI, darned if i know what i'm looking at........

well my doctor's appointment was cancelled yet again, he was in emergency surgery again.

i go monday of next week, the 6th.

i just forgot to update on that new development.

UPDATE: Nov. 6th, 2017

bad news from the doctor.

the doctor told me the MRI didn;t show any nerve being pinched..

but the MRI report DOES SAY, that i have a possible cracked back bone.

which one, he cannot say for sure. now i have to have a CT scan.

of course the waiting game is on for approval of that, the lawyers may have to go to court for this again, knowing the insurance company refuses so many things.

i'm sure too that i will have to eventually go see the quack insurance doctor, that refuses everything as well...

back to court, i highly suspect.

the doctor did recommend i go back for some more p/t.

he did ask me if i have fallen since the operation back in June, i said no.

so if my backbone IS cracked, how the hell did it crack?

weak bones, when he screwed in the screws and nuts to my back?

i dunno......

i go see him again in February for a follow up

like an old sonny and cher song....."the beat goes on"......

UPDATE: Nov 22, 2017

Been since the 6th when i saw my doctor. still no approval of any CT scan or still no approval of more p/t.

i emailed my attorney about this, 2 days about these things.

being a holiday week, he may be on vacation.

so that's about it, i either have a fracture or a cracked vertebrae, but until i get that CT scan i don't know, and my doctor won't know either.

then too, i still suspect any day now, an appointment must have been set up with the insurance quack doctor, also known as "Dr. Denial"

Wondering if the "fracture or cracked vertebrae" is from the first or second operation??

I've a friend who after her last operation, has no feeling in her left leg at knee to foot. Before the operation, she had from knee to foot normal feeling and the cause of the operation was from feeding animals from a top step (5 steps) at the back of their garage, and one last toss, she went sailing away and landed on a good size rock on her left knee (which was slated to be replaced either before or after her left hip operation).
The "knee op" was performed with Hammering (or whatever it is to perform the surgery) a shim into her leg bone at the knee which, her hubby concludes is the cause of her numbness.
The Shim was too big for the procedure yet dr. dumazz kept splintering the bone.
(She has no control of her foot as it's like a limp appendage. She uses a walker and it takes her a long time just to cross her front room to get to the potty AND she has to turn the walker sideways and hobble in, so by the time she gets to the toilet, she's already done what was to do. I suggested Adult Diapers. We started in them and old enough, we end in them.)
Later dr. dimwit was watching some info on a computer and was witnessed slapping his forehead and saying "OHH, THAT'S How It was to be performed"!
Frank has been seeking a potential Malpractice Lawsuit through other Doctors which can be a major problem: finding a doctor willing to testify a doctor caused the problem.
She used to be a Truck Driver in a Team of her and Hubby. The Company recently terminated her, so IF she can ever drive again, she'll again be a newbie at that or any company, IF or WHEN she passes the Physical.

well that's what i wonder too, how i got the fracture. i never fell down since the operation. now remember too, that i had a pre-op and post op MRI's. the pre-op certainly did not show any spinal fluid, indicating a fracture or a crack, so how did it happen..??

did it happen when the screws got bolted into my bone at this last operation?

also i think i have mentioned a few posts back, that my left leg/foot was ok BEFORE the operation, BUT i had a MASSIVE pain in my left knee BEFORE the operation. after the operation, that pain went away, doctor says it was the disc pressing on a nerve causing that...yet, from my left knee down to my foot, it is still numb...?????

unlike the person you speak of, i have control over both my legs and feet and can still walk, albeit SLOWER than normal what i was able to do, and forgedaboudit running any time too soon, as well.

so as i had mentioned, it is a waiting game, like it never has happened before, to get the approval of this CT scan.

i am most certainly certain, the insurance company quack doctor will deny anything else, then......back to court i go, i go, it's off to court i go........(insert whistling song here)

UPDATE: Nov. 28, 2017

ok, got a call from the doctor's office.

i got 6 visits approval for p/t.

i got approval for the CT scan....BUT

i had to call another company that the insurance is involved with for this to happen.

so calls were made, my attorney has been kept up to speed as well

all i have to do now is.......wait for my phone to ring for p/t to start, and the CT scan to take place.

the p/t place still may not take me, since i do have this crack/fracture in the backbone and is/was leaking spinal fluid.

it could be a liability for them, but then again, the doctor told me to go to p/t......

oh well.......

Wow! You sure have been put through the ringer. I know how you got that crack....too much stress from the weight of all the BS they gave you. Seriously though I send my thoughts and prayers.
