Crossing borders: Blockchain’s role in smoothing trade

https://www.freightwaves.com/news/border-crossings-and-blockchain

"IBM and Maersk are working together to create a new blockchain related solution to this situation built over the Hyperledger Fabric platform. The solution, they believe, could vastly reduce the complications involved and also expedite the transit process. This approach tries enveloping the complete transaction by placing all the documents and paperwork involved in a trade deal into a single template-based workflow.

Every step along the way is monitored and tracked, with details on where and when documents were submitted being recorded."

Are you sure you don't have a license to practice Law? von.

All truck driver lawyers have a waiver, no license required.
Covered under the Hummingbird article of the NMFA.
They say a defendant who represents himself has a fool for a client. Based on the legal advice I have heard at the truck stop over the years, & the wavier I will take the fool. von.

"A 300-mile variant of the Semi will cost $150,000; the 500-mile model, $180,000; and a Founders Series will run $200,000, according to Tesla’s website."

"Musk reported that lower energy costs for the truck over a million miles adds up to a savings of around $200,000 over conventional fuel costs. He said the truck is guaranteed not to break down for a million miles."

I see the driver is on the wrong side but where are the mirrors at?

FXFE paying $200K for a tractor...we won’t drive one in our lifetime!!
Unless this part hold true: "Musk reported that lower energy costs for the truck over a million miles adds up to a savings of around $200,000 over conventional fuel costs. He said the truck is guaranteed not to break down for a million miles."

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a Gov. program of grants/credits, spending your money to "encourage" purchase. :idunno:

Also, with that kind of acceleration, there will need to be an increase in load securement. Can you imagine the mess a road driver could make, to an improperly secured load, with that kind of forward power? :poke:

First, one must realize that Musk is a salesman selling his product. He’ll tell anyone what they want to hear in order to sell his product....with that being said, after seeing some of the gimmicks our company has tried over the years, we just might receive a few!!

Since the Gov is already in bed with Musk and his SpaceX program, yeah, I could see some grants/credits offered....

I agree with BORED, after the pencil pushers in HRO get through recalibrating the trucks (because they know more than the engineers that designed and built the damn things), we’ll be lucky if they’ll get out of their own way!!
