Estes | New rumors!!!

What I heard was they were making them do a lot of mandatory weekends or something like that and a bunch just walked out. Just what I heard though. You know how trucker stories get passed around. And they were like 100 loads behind cuz of it
1 guy quits for a respectable reason then next thing you know like you say 15 guys just walked off the job in the middle of the shift. Truck drivers are the worst players in the game of telephone lol.

Bunch of new runs coming next year. New bids start March 4th. New bids will go up Dec 7th

I've also heard this. Also they're wanting to hire 500 more drivers system-wide before March? What's going on??

I talked with a supervisor, they said they'e having to many loads miss their appointment dates because, this year was a high growth year ( around 8%) plus all the Fema drivers and the lack of sufficient amount of extra board drivers they want to maximize the schedule runs and hire about 700 new drivers. The growth is expected to keep pace 2018.

Funny thing about that picture is the tow truck next to it, probably how it got there. Just saying

I think a local guy owns it, several were driven to the show.
I made the pic at the Greensboro truck show 10/28/17
