Maybe those guys that run like hell to make it like those long runs and they don't want the company to not run them because guys like you say it can't be done. 2 options for runs that are on the brink of not making it. 1 they turn trucks up. 2 they don't even attempt the run because they got tired of paying for for a run some can't finish.
I never said it couldn’t be done they did that those runs need faster trucks. They have to keep certain lanes due to stay competitive. So your saying we shouldn’t be equal regardless of bid or open board?

Of course we should all be equal. Problem is we are not. You have guys that try hard to make the long runs work and guys that don't, trying to make a point that the trucks should be turned up. Just be careful that they decide not to run the long runs instead of turning trucks up. I am for turning trucks up but also smart enough to see there is probably a different way to run long runs. Next thing you know we have sleeper trucks running team. Yrc does it. Just be careful what you wish for.

Problem is the people making the decisions and changes have NEVER did the job ! and this is true at all companies , some Dork -pencil pusher thinks this would be better , but never has worked the dock or drove a forklift ! Kinda like them keeping our trucks at 62 mph ,instead of turning them up so we can move freight !

BRG Patel Consults LLC has submitted a plan to add alum in the asphalt when paving hiways to reduce distance between
point A to point B, no need to drive faster. Save your hours, drive more miles.

BRG Patel is also doing a study for the DOT, funded by the FHWA,on that very subject, but is focusing on making all vehicles longer in length, so your driver will arrive faster.

53 work rules would have to be abolished for that to happen.
