Many shippers have been getting away with sending light,tall,unstackable space consuming freight, for years at LTL prices, because of weight based pricing,and should have been priced as volumes. For instance,they call in 14 skids of auto parts,stackable,weighing 2500lbs. When in fact,skids are 90 inches tall, on 40x 48 inch skids, weigh 200lbs each,and take up a whole pup,that got run as a 1 biller,and never hit the dock for a W and I person sees it...
