Anyone listen in to the TDU telephone thing last Saturday? I'm curious to know if there's anything new coming out of that.

I guess the next IBT negotiation session with the company will be January 9th. Haven't heard anything that the IBT is proposing. I guess it's too early.
 
I don't think that the IBT will reveal what it is proposing. It is not a good idea to tell the work force what is being proposed and what is being discussed in negotiations
 
I had a former employer who used chopped glass..............Used cullet is cheaper than bagged sand,....and more effective in achieving the corporate goal...
 
Alright,......A running bet that ArcBest management is clueless enough that they'll try to ........"convince"........their employees that they are in bad shape and need further relief.

They can't hire now,.....and they are completely flummoxed as to why............Who to blame? Must be the Usual Suspects....those Overpaid Teamsters.......Those Selfish Teamsters..........Can't they see that the most important thing in the world is Survival of ArcBest.,.....even if it means destruction of family finances?

Anybody giving odds that this will be the company message going into negotiations?

No question. Will they forget (again) to add in the U-Pack numbers too? How convenient (and slimy) was that last time?
