This is what happens to SALT when they try and get the Teamsters organized in Dallas. SAIA always sends them packing with a long hard one. It doesn't help that the Teamsters have a defective product that's worthless as tits on a boar hog. Joe Brock and company exposed them at FedEx and sent them packing. The SAIA benefit package keeps those grubby parasites from having any chance of getting enough votes. And SAIA is real good at getting rid of the SALT. Someone always throws them under the bus and they always hang themselves. And don't look for the Teamsters to help you get your job back because all they do is take. 15% is a prime example. Let's see what happens at the next contract negotiations at YRC. My bet is more of the same. Hoffa and his cronies need a raise.

Good to see you're not still bitter about getting your ass kicked and losing your job.

Despite how things went down for me in the 80’s at Overnite I still have no regrets. Especially after seeing what the Teamsters have evolved into today. I understand why some have no choice but to stay with the gal that brought them. But to join them in today’s environment would be pure stupidity and ultimately *******. SAIA has treated be fairly and I owe them my loyalty and although I don’t agree with everything they do I still would never be in favor of going union. The bad far outweighs the good. And deep down I think even you know that.

Same to you Dave and the FedEx crew. You guys made the right decision with the decertification. As far as me and Joe things will never change. We just agree to disagree. You can’t change a tigers stripes.

It's funny, because in some aspects Saia is way ahead of everybody in technology. Like the EIC website with the online dispatch listings. I don't know of any other company that offers a real time dispatch board that lets the driver see his trailers, his route, weights, Cube, etc. It's very Cutting Edge.
.

Where I work does, but we’re in casket delivery, not freight delivery. We’re even tied into the individual tractor, and state scales, via satellite, PrePass, and our XRS elogs. Our local drivers don’t carry paper. Our OTR has been on elogs for 9 years.
