There's a big difference between, "discontent" and "let's hitch a ride on the busted wagon with two horses and one wheel". I'm not arguing that the former doesn't exist, but the employees of XPO LTL have spoken very clearly about not wanting the latter.
Only a small portion have voted.and there how many.Have the masses,spoken,:452:

After tax gross last year was 82,000. So to call it “slave wages” is silly.
You mean under Canadian tax structure you net 82,000 out of 105,000 .We I would love to know how you did this.I can't even do this in the US .My account and tax advisor would also like to know. What secrets do you have .Could you share them with us.And are they legal.

I’m not offended at all. It’s just more clutter that is used to try and distract us. Same as the insults and name calling. Roadboss responds to one of my questions with a bunch of nonsense about being a Jacobs lover and then pretends to not know where my question is. It’s all BS to distract us from the fact that the union isn’t the answer. Carry on.
Well again what is your question,or are you avoiding on asking it ,before you consult someone else.I never said anything about loving Mr.Jacobs.No Bull ::shit:: here bud.

Your confidence in a holding company is :lmao: Keep believing in Xpo. There's a chair waiting for you on valley road in Greenwich Connecticut. And it's not in the board room.:putr:
Yeah. No BS here.......

It’s pretty simple. I’ve asked the questions and you guys, as always go out of your way to not answer. The avoidance tactic isn’t anything new.

It’s so simple yet you and most guys like you keep using the same tired play book. You don’t answer the questions because you can’t answer the questions.
Take your own advice and put up or shut up.

Not shy at all. I can post the question again and you’ll just continue ignoring it. Unlike Rudolph, I’m not interested in playing your reindeer games.

I tired of hearing the union types bitch about deregulation. The teamster are big supporters of the democratic party give them million and million of dollars every year. They say the democratic party is for the working man, but are they really? The democratic party were in control of the House, Senate, and the White House when the MCA 1980 was passed and sign into law. The bill introduced on Feb 01 1980 by the Democratic sponsor Howard Cannon from Nevada pass through both the House and Senate were the Democratic party held a majority in both with 57 Senators and 277 in the House. The bill was then signed into law by a Democratic President. Yet they still support the party that sold them down the river years ago and want you to do the same. This is the same party that believes in more regulation more govt control and in the end has driven companies to produce there products overseas.
This shows the real bigotry of the Teamsters. They have no interest in the working man and just became the same type of corporation that they once stood against

Don't forget Bill Clinton signed NAFTA in 1993 and Clinton ended GATT (general agreement on tariffs & trade) he also gave China MFN status (most favored nation) both of those together gave China near zero import duties in the USA.
Clinton singlehandly gave about 25 million good paying jobs to China.
But unions support Democrats about 90 percent of the time.

They deserve the love they get from the Democrats.....

Unions support democrats because they support working people.Didn't Donald Trump just support tax relief for him and his rich buddies.I guess you forget that one,And the tax breaks you got, means states will get less and guess what that means you pay more.

Puff on that one, and don't inhale,You might choke on a republican.

I make over a hundred grand a year. Not bad for “ slave wages”.
Well if you up north,You pay more in taxes of coarse. You have free health care.and how much due you contribute to your retirement. That 100 grand doesnt go very far if you life in Toronto does it.

Well ::shit::. You guys convinced me. Unions are evil, and I need to see what the fair market value of my job is out there.

Maybe I can get me one of them fancy Swift jobs, or something. They've done pretty well in the fair market.

Not having unions out there is like when the United States went off the gold standard and went to a fiat currency model: with nothing to compare it to, how do we know what it's worth? Because you SAY so? Well in an actual fair market, maybe that can work, maybe not. But if there's someone who can tell you what it's "actually" worth (to them), you're kind of a slave.

I want to have a say in my future, not be such a good little boy that I get patted on the head once every few years.

All of this said, I work my ASS off for my employer, and I think I'm worth every penny the union has negotiated for me.

This all comes down to a difference of viewpoint: I'm saying that unions, even if you're not in one, are valuable to you because they help give your employers an idea of your value. Otherwise, they could just tell you that you only get paid when the wheels are rolling, and that's that.

You counter by pointing out that if pay ever got low enough, they couldn't attract drivers. Well... maybe, maybe not. But do you really want to go through the process of them finding the threshold ratio of pay to driver skill? I mean Schneider was going through it for decades before they finally settled on ::shit::.

The unions companies, by being a competitor for skilled drivers who wish to be paid well, keep YOUR companies honest, and out of the Eastern Bloc countries looking for talent.

The. End.

TL;DR you don't have to like unions, but they still do something for you.
