Here's $100 for ALL your pain and suffering? Don't spend it all in one place!
:chairshot:

Better than a poke in the eye with a dull pencil. Still just a skosh more than a days pay.

I only raise the issue, because I see this pittance much better spent on tractors or trailers. I’m sure there are many barns that could benefit from new lifts, straight truck with lift gate, etc. $200 is cool, but in the grand scheme of things, it’s about what I contribute to my 401-k in 2 weeks. Overall, I’m not really gonnna miss it one way or the other. Glad the grievance was won and the company suffers; but, so do we all.

Be nice to just have someone service equipment BEFORE it breaks down.
Or new fork blades. Seats. Toilet paper.
And for someone I know.
LIGHT BULBS!
Lol.
:lmao:

It's the Teamster way to turn down bonuses because too much tax is taken out! I read it on TB so it must be true!

One time bone-us in lieu of a raise? Tax issue is merely smoke and mirrors for the real issue; elimination of wage increases and savings for the company over the long term.

No El, I was referring to the OR bonuses that some said they were refusing because of the tax consequences.

Everyone here did READ this to the end, didn't they??? The bonus will be paid to ROAD DRIVERS ONLY! Dockmen, combo and local cartage do not share in this settlement. And although it seems unfair, those work groups were not adversely affected by line haul PTS.

I think that many are overlooking the real issue. At the end of 2016 road drivers were paid a settlement for the 2015 overages. At the end of 2017 we should be paid for the 2016 overage (unless they want to combine 2016 and 2017 and give us both). The point is that the excuse given is from 2017 hurricanes. What happened to the 2016 overage? How are they calculating the total?
