Since they are hiring all these drivers at 017 and saying they are gonna cut everybody to 40 to 45 hrs a week maybe they are gonna start paying OT lol.My pay hasn't gone up to top rate yet and I have over 3 years exp in LTL.
About the only thing a TM will tell you is that there are big things happening this year and that they can't disclose any of the details just yet.
Do combo drivers get OT? I can see them hiring a bunch of guys as combo so they can work them in different classifications to avoid paying any OT even after 55.Since they are hiring all these drivers at 017 and saying they are gonna cut everybody to 40 to 45 hrs a week maybe they are gonna start paying OT lol.
To my knowledge if you are a driver that is paid by the hour then if you work more than 55 hours then you should get paid over time.Do combo drivers get OT? I can see them hiring a bunch of guys as combo so they can work them in different classifications to avoid paying any OT even after 55.
Over Time limit is 54I meant OT after 40.
I think that there eyes are bigger than their stomach, That have guys falling over each other with nothing to do. They have way over hired at my Barn.
We are badly short. Outbound loads sitting hoping that an extra broad driver comes in with enough hours.
I missed the call from the recruiter lady on Thursday and I called her back on Friday and left a message and now I can’t get her. Should I just deal with the local T.M?
Normally it would take 24-48 hours for some to call you back
Its been like 2 weeks this coming up Monday will have been 3 weeks I've called everyday trying to return her call and nothing
I would suggest calling the terminal and speak to the manager and see if they might know if there is anything else you need for them. Sometimes they can push it forward ahead. But I have been told that it goes through 6 or 7 different desks before it gets approved. But calling the terminal might be the best way to get the job. Good LuckI'm in the same boat I received a call from Leslie at corporate in Richmond about the regional driver position I applied for in Greenwood IN and I've called multiple time and cannot get her on the phone or to return call after leaving a voicemail
