To the team drivers out there. I’m thinking about going from solo to teams. How many miles you guys are averaging and what’s the pay? Because I’m doing good by myself right now with Estes but have been looking at going back to teams and wanted to do it here with Estes.

I don’t know what the current pay rate for teams is but I would never team again. It’s nearly impossible to get back off the team unless you’re out of a big terminal. I was lucky enough to find a chance to get off of it. I think estes would have more people willing to team if the team could more easily split up and go back to single when they wanted to.

Damn really? I’m out of a big terminal. How many miles and how long were you out for on a regular?

It works exactly the same way as extraboard with the exception of your break being in the sleeper instead of a motel. 5 days out, 2 days at home, unless of course you both want to stay out longer. You’ll run all lower 48 states and see anywhere from 5,000-6,500 miles a week(5 Days).
