XPO | Record Profits, Big Govt. tax break...... and they're taking away from us?

Nobody at my place even did the math on the 30% increase on the copays.

"It only went up $2 per week. That's not bad."

We all knew. But we also know what it’s like out there right now. Health care regardless of employer is a serious issue.

The multiplying factor for legacy employees change is what I’m hearing nothing any more specific than that .
I’m hearing there’s pressure to further align all business units this year.

Losing any more PTO will trigger another round of people leaving.

2 drivers that graduated our driving school 3 years ago just gave their notice. With shrinking availability for good city starts because of cheaper dock labor from what I hear younger employees don’t see that or shrinking benefits as a good career move to stay.
We losing guys for the same reason

I came over in 2001 and there was hope to get into a morning job slot and drive. These new guys, their best view is midway in the flex board. Linehaul one week, morning dock the next, start at 3pm next week, etc.

And that's if they're lucky. Nobody wants that life.

NOBODY CARES ABOUT OUR CONCERNS!!!!!
That’s because you don’t have their attention. As along as they feel they can get away with it .. they’ll continue. Why do you think their fighting unionization so hard . Let me tell you it isn’t out of concern for your well being. The options are limited at this point.
Leaving and starting over is an unattractive option for drivers who have a lot time invested here. Who wants to go start at the bottom somewhere else. Xpo needs drivers but they don’t value them enough other than to give them the bare minimum it takes to retain a barley functional level.
There’s no easy options in this situation. You may think it’s going to get better or the taking will cease but if their doing this at the best of times it has to make you wonder what will happen in an economic slowdown.

Another problem with the union movement and some of your opinions is that you have a long term agenda. The company has a short term agenda. It wants to sell us off as quickly as possible for the most money possible. They couldn’t care less about the next economic slowdown. They want to be out of this by then.
