As I was rolling down the highway the other day and listening to Sirius XM (personal vehicle of course), I heard a song from the "Who"...Pin Ball Wizard.

I got to thinkin'.....ArcBest thinks we are the "Pin Ball Wizard"....can just be knocked around over and over and we are "deaf, dumb, and blind"..

Well, the pin ball machine is now unplugged...bring it on! "Pay a Fair Rate, or Lock the Gate"

They can kiss my cheeks, and I ain't talking about the two on my face!

My personal Opinion,..........there's nothing better to go through the Sturm Und Drang of high-speed rush hour traffic,......like say around the bottom side of Chicago on I-90,...........at about 70 mph with Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyrie" on.........

.....(.Or,.....how about George Thorogood's "Gear Jammer" on I-95?.........like on a summer evening going north right around Fredericksburg, Va.?....)....

The Right level of Volume,.......you can actually vibrate your stuck-on hula-dancer air freshener right off the dash with the bass strokes alone......

And,.....if you sing along at the top of your voice, and play "air guitar" with your feet hooked in the steering wheel,.......you scare the daylights out of the tourists............

....(....Not that I've ever done that...)....

I know you are lost, Brother,........and I pray for you daily.........

I believe it is "lie like a rug".........."lay" like a rug has subtle sexual connotations implying that the person in question spends quite a bit of time being horizontal on the floor, probably doing nefarious things with the opposite sex.....

As an Older-American,.....that no longer is pertinent to me.........
