TForce | UPS to Freeze Pension Plans for Nonunion Staffers

I understand, its an age thing. When you mature you will understand.
Nope not at all. But who’s Mature? You’re upset, now you’re coming with the name calling? Now if I come back at you with the name calling I’ll be wrong. It seems like you’ll the one that needs to grow up and act your age or like you say “MATURE”.

Upset, Really? Name calling, Where or when? Think about what you post and understand what I post!

Just want to make sure you understand how upset I am NOT. First, I am so thankful that I have 37 years of being a road driver behind me. 30 years pension credit with Overnite/UPSF. I am so thankful that I was able to roll over my existing 401K to the Overnite 401k at such a young age that has exceeded my expectations to date with gains which with my pension will allow me to retire at 60 years old and maintain the same standard of living that I have now which will also allow me to hold out for full social security benefits at age 70 rather than taking a reduced penalty payment before that age. I am so thankful that I have all my years behind me with this sad company and contract that we have. I do not have much faith in your next contract. I do not see much of a road operation for the future of this company. Just as the voter turn out was so very low on the last contract vote, I do not expect any difference on the July 2018 contract vote. Why, because most employees do not care enough about their future. Just as you said about your future pension. You better hope that the contract voter turnout is a lot better than 58 percent as it was back in 2013. So me upset, not at all. Since you probably wont have much of a pension in your next contract I would suggest that you open up a brokerage account and pay the 5-8 dollars a month to maintain it and purchase some Amazon, Apple and United Health Care stocks so that you wont have to slave for UPSF until your 72 years old. So happy and thankful that I am at the tail end of this sad sorry outfit. Good luck on your next contract!
