Can anybody explain why at xhg they have so many tractors;dollies; and forklifts red tagged. My tractor broke down there on Tuesday nite there and still parked in the same spot. Doesn't anybody care anymore?? Not even looked at..
 
The local mechanic that fixes our equipment tells me he’s not getting paid by Xpo. The need to show profit to impress potential investors will continue come out of the operation as long as organic growth in sales lags

Is there a shop there at XHG? If so, all shops are only “allowed” x amount of out of service equipment before they get “on the naughty list”. Our shop (and I’m very thankful we have one with great techs) works hard to keep their numbers down. My 2016 tractor was down only two days (one night for me) for electronic issues. The dealer it was towed to the first time around didn’t find anything and had it for 10 days. Our guys always take care of us.
To have a vendor come out or have it towed if you broke down at a non-shop location, yeah, that sucks!

Not your bonus, your tm’s Bonus. If you don’t have a shop, ask him why you have so much OOS equipment? It’s all about his bonus. We were over 150% of bonus. A smaller barn kept sending us bad gear, we kept refusing to pull. Had to get fixed locally. Guess what? No bonus for us, massive one for the other tm and his crew.

I heard a vendor out that way hijacked some of your equipment and won’t release it until they get paid. To have a terminal with that Much Equipment going through it and to have a vendor and right next-door would be a dream come true for any terminal. **** off that guy off and see what it’s gonna costLOL

OK here is what I heard from the drivers at XHG
1. vendor came in a took one of the jockey trucks and is holding it until XPO pays him the 80k they owe him.
2. 3 jockey trucks O/S and another stuck under a trailer since Monday 12 Mar. I guess fifth wheel release not working.
3. XHg has two buildings. So they use a sub-service trailer to move extra forklifts back and forth between the buildings. While the trailer with forklifts on it was sitting in the yard the sub-service carrier hook up and drove out the gate with 5 lifts on the trailer. When the sub-service was call they were so nice and said there was nothing on the trailer and didn't know anything about the lifts.
4. For 2 weeks now the door from outside into the break room is broken. The have Blocked this door which is a fire exit both from the inside and outside. Remember safety first.

I also heard that all vendors will get paid 90 after the work is done this has been doubled from the 45 days. I guess stuff won't be getting fixed

Sounds about right for the current condition of xpo.

I have a customer who told me they have a damage claim from last fall that XPO still has not paid. He said they fight everything.
