Yellow | Lack of warm body "Itus" strikes again

Oh what a viscous circle. No help because of no money. Demand more money the company (I.E. those bastard banks!) close the door.
1st off , they will never ever close the doors and 2nd is YRCW has MONEY just look at all the free stock awards & Bonuses and management at FULL Pay , no -15% for Welch or Hawkins !

I agree, but there are those who resemble ‘fish in a barrel’ :17142:
I think he stares at himself in the mirror every morning and recites it to himself until he's sure he believes it.

He genuinely believes there's a great big conspiracy despite all the evidence to the contrary. Free stock awards aren't the same as having actual money, and the stock is only worth what the market says it's worth. He thinks the company can cash out it's own stock for money, which they can't.

He refuses to believe YRC can die because it conflicts with his belief that they're rich and hiding it all. We all know that it's all publicly available information, but he thinks it's an amazing lie. And that somehow the union and the IRS are allowing them to hide billions in undeclared profits.

Take it easy on my buddy. It’s his busy time of the year right now.

And we have been paying the "Fuzzy" Zollars 90 million a year interest for how long?
Look I'm sorry, But excuse after excuse after :horseshit: excuse from management or their lackies is not cutting it anymore.
And buy the way fedex freight makes no more on the gross than any other LTL. All they are is a write off for the rest of the corperation. UPS does the same with UPS freight.
$3900 a year pension contribution from fedex? Is that what you said? So what are we getting? Don't think it's anywhere near that amount.

FedEx Freight turns a very handsome profit, Operating Ratio running right at 90 according to filings with SEC. Hardly a "write off" for the parent company. Pension contribution and 401 K match for me last year added up to just shy of $10,000. Hourly rate in city here is $30.18, Road is $37.92, effective 1st of the month.

The numbers don't lie. Hoffa does.

How does the 10 grand break down??? Still a 4.5% match? At $100 grand per year that's still just 4500.
I know they give bonuses too.How does the portable pension work...I ask because you don't know how many times I've thought about throwing away my 15 years at Holland to work for FedEx. It's hard starting all over but FedEx is a damn good job.

The ridiculously small amount of work we are required to do for one thing.
Sets per hour hooked, what maybe 1. Bills per hour on dock ..any guesse?
No one would pull that :::shit::: at a non union line.
And God forbid someone gets their feelings hurt or gets angry at management.
They will show them what a true sorry ass is.
I love having a contract and it has got me paid lots of times, but we all need to work
and earn our paycheck. From what I see some of the-worst sorriest asses are the ones demanding the most from the upcoming contract..sad and ignorant.
I think we got a little off the topic.
This thread is not about weither some Guys screw off or not. This thread was suppose to be about why we can't get anyone to hire on.
It's bad enough that non of these damn Kids wanna drive a truck. But those who do go elsewhere because of the low pay.
So please lets try to stay on that part of the topic.
No more deflecting please!

Don’t you have something to say to everyone?
Back to topic we are hiring left and right.

I think these "damn kids" are smart not getting involved with this industry. I just wish I was that smart when I was their age.
