TForce | UPSF Road driver

i believe it's .4342 to start, then when you make senority (which is, i think 45 working days?) it's .4468. Then as soon as you get to a terminal, you go on the clock at $17.20 / $17.70 senority for everything-----fueling, drop and hook, waiting for next load etc.

But i'm telling you , IF working at night really doesn't bother you and you can really stay awake, then TAKE THE JOB NOW AND DON'T LOOK BACK. GET YOUR ### HERE NOW.

This may be the best gig in trucking. Even at the starting rates, it's raining money. Top rates are .7169 per mile $28.40/hr Not to mention benefits.

JOB IS AS GOOD AS SEX.

Make sure you’re at a HUB I’ve seen guys get hired as road drivers just to sit at home. We have Contractors running hard over here. Make sure you find out all the information before you get here. It’s Cold Hearted over here as drivers but if you can last you’ll be fine.

i would generally agree with this sentiment. However, i'm not out of a HUB or mini-HUB, and we (they've added several road positions at my terminal) are running our sugar tails off; So, it just my vary from terminal to terminal.

As far as contractors. Yes, it ticks me off, but they may be a necessary evil as the company appears to have more freight than company drivers at the moment? i respect them as people.

P.S.
Went to the big "H" last week and the place was overflowing with trailers. You barely had room to move. One of the reasons i don't like going there..........

More Freight than company drivers? Lmao!!!! Dude get your head outta your you know what. I know you’re making nice money right now and I’m happy for you but please don’t go there. I know you haven’t been here longer than me but don’t assume that crazy mess. I’m just letting the man know what’s up and it’s Facts. I’ve known guys that’s quit good jobs just to come here and sit at home. SMH just like they add runs they take it. Happens all the time here.
