I have been with them going on 11 years. Never had any real problems. I do the route and go home. I speak up when it affects me. Others will bitch. And if you speak up with or for them. They clam up and you look like the troublemaking *******. Let them defend themselves. Train your receivers to the horn. I blow the Air Horn. They know it is me. And they come down the ramp to get or give me the freight. Back to dock same thing. The open the door and open door and put plate down. Saves me time and wear and tear.I explain it to all new accounts. 90% of them do it. Some don't I still do it. Cause sometimes they will come down the ramp.

Most of my customers were used to the last guy that had the route sitting in the cab on his phone after backing in so a lot of them were used to opening the door, dropping the plate and finding their freight. They got a big surprise when I took over. I would be standing there with them, and they would be completely surprised. I don't screw around before the delivery, it pisses me off to see drivers get out of their trucks when I show up when I know they have been there a while and I sure it pisses of others.

I am on the Bid. But have one nonbid driver on the route with me. And one floater drive. One of the floater drivers. Told a regular customer. The freight is too heavy at 2000 and we may damage it. There were 4 skids at 8000. Was a tailgate load. He said he had to call it in. The customer told him if you don't want to pick it to get the hell out of here. I will call the terminal to get another truck. We have a few losers working at our barn. Now, this stop on pickups you point north. The freight rolls slowly own its own. Point south on the delivery. Freight rolls slowly on its own.
