It just shows they expect little resistance from an unorganized bunch of dumb truck drivers! I sure hope they get a surprise! Leadership is going to have to come from the local level, you know it's not coming from the national level.

So did the UNION approve this WHOLE WEEK they want city guys to run the road ? and do we take our seniority with for that week ? and IF they really wanted to move the freight they would turn the trucks up to 75 mph and raise the pay to match the non-union pay scale !

I would go for the speed limit . 75 would give you a good run for the hills.....

I THINK it's a ploy. they want to have purchase transportation in the next contact. This is just there way of proven to the union they need it. where the only union company that don't I know of. I am only speaking about our line haul operation

So have ANY Line Haul Stewards or Driver's filed a grievance in this B.S. ???????????????????????
Yes I filed on it CC to company labor rep Andrew Cook and local union rep. Carolina supplement allows it in certain circumstances but not to subterfuge Road supplement. By the company not extending domiciled/foreign bid and open board drivers who has adequate amount of hours prior to use of local cartage they where in violation so we loaded them up on monetary grievances. One vague blanket grievance for warning then we had turn bids file on it. Next day city stayed in their classification and our turn bids are all running 500+ daily. Open board exhausted going out on sundays. Problem solved in Spartanburg

That’s they it’s supposed to be never in reverse.

I think they are testing the waters. You read the interview. They want flexibility. In other words, they want us like XPO. Where they can make EVERY employee do whatever they tell them to do, 14 hours a day. And the idiots volunteering to cross job classification, are setting us all up to get them just that, in the next contract. And when those greedy "Meesters" are only thinking about themselves, they should be thinking about how many employees the company can do without, if they get their wish. Hopefully the "Meesters" volunteering, are low on seniority, and will be the first to feel the effects of a huge layoff, due to their thoughtless actions

New development in ME they making us do a swope in city before running Nashville. What’s next? Delivering in route?
