The Heights and Wheeling are on the same seniority list. You can try to work out of there on the next bid.
If you're talking about Holland. Mc Cook and Wheeling are the same list.
Not a bad terminal to run out of. All NW burbs, as a 10 percenter you may have to make the trek to McCook once in a while. Dispatch for the late shift not so bad, early shift can be a problem and I will leave it there since we have that problem no matter what term you work out of.
They have had problems with TM’s over the last 5 yrs and as a result it has been a disorganized mess. Been through at least 4 in those yrs that I could count before I walked away from there.
The vet’s are a great group of guys, but are slowly counting down their days to get out. At one time I would have said it was the best Terminal in the system to work out of but thanks in large part to YRC they ruined a great place.
If I was you and you don’t have much time next door make the jump, save yourself the gas and time from going all the way to the Heights.
