Central Transport | And the latest driver award goes to!!!!!!!!! Hahaha

Another reason why Central is Central

This seems about right. I'm surprised those four-wheelers didn't attempt to squeeze past him in the tunnel.

Could be one of several things:

1) He was breaking in the tunnel for the next Central driver

2) There was a Swift truck nearby and he wanted to beat him to it

3) Ever since his wife left him this is as close as he can get

In any case, it would have been nice if a driver with truckload of KY Jelly had gone through first.

You know, tunnels like this lie about being tall enough for trucks all the time. What gobsmacks me is how many drivers will take a 13' 6" sign at face value despite a tunnel that is barely two lanes wide clearly having a circular profile.

When in doubt, check your clearance.

You should not call your self a driver. We have all been put into these situations. You sir are a ass hole.
Well I never drove under a bridge I wasn't sure of, I never drove down a road with out being sure I couldn't get out of and as a professional you should be aware of all your surroundings all the time! over 40 years of driving I can honestly say I never topped a trailer or been towed out of a snow bank and so on and so on! Do they reinforce the Smith system at central? Utililizing the Smith system that would have never happened, know where your going
Mr. Perfect!!!

Haha well this guy failed his confrontation! Bet they gave him a sign on bonus too Bahahaha
Okay and your point is? Every LTL company out there is offering a sign on bonus. If you haven't noticed there is a driver shortage in America and Central is taking more and more business from the competition every day. As you said bahahaha

Actually the vast majority of LTLs aren't offering sign-on bonuses. And they shouldn't have to, despite the driver shortage. These are among the highest-paying jobs in the industry.

The only companies that should need to offer sign-on bonuses are truckload OTR carriers and those that deliver to dollar stores and such. Sign-on bonuses generally indicate a problem when you see LTLs offering them.

You are kidding right? Hell half the LTL company's have started their own driving schools because they can't fine drivers. Here in the Midwest almost every LTL is overing a sign on bonus. Estes and OD are using Trillium staffing to find drivers.
