XPO | Overtime

I am linehaul in Fl. For our city guys no overtime until fifty hours. No overtime for over eight and we get paid at the lowest rate. Come on in the water is fine.

I get OT after 8. I was told the new hires get OT after 40. The new dock hands get OT after 50. A few have been here long enough to still get the OT after 40.

I don't know what's accurate but , I asked a newer driver ( 3 years in ) if he got overtime after 8 and he said he did. I hope he's right. Its a shame that there was supposed to be this push to eliminate all the differences in pay and policies and that ground to a halt with the XPO purchase.

Even now there are two kinds of retirement plans for drivers: one you are grandfathered into and the one new hires get.

Seperāte and dominate. Divide and conquer.

What type of plan ( if any ) is available for dockworkers?

If you have OT after 8 and call off Friday. You still have your OT from the week. If you have OT after 40 and call of on Friday. You just did 10 hour days for straight time.
That part I understand....maybe I didn't phrase correctly.
Who gets ot after 8 and who gets it after 40? Did they mix you guys up?
