After a futile search of the forum I come asking for help. A somewhat recent discussion offered the process of acquiring Ford discounts for Fedex employees. I am also curious of Hyundai participates. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

After you're registered select the lifemart tab, then autos under the menu.

Most manufacturer's seem to participate.

I'm comparing the quote to the price on the dealer website for the same car and I'm not seeing a savings...I'm seeing a HIGHER PRICE.

I've made that mistake in the past.

Honestly, outside of cell service, I've not saved a lot of money with any company discount...

Oh wait, shipping stuff at 40 percent off. No, no... USPS was still cheaper.

With Ford we used to get the “X plan” and with GM we used get the “suppliers discount” (haven’t used either in a while) and the prices for both plans are printed on the respective invoices of each vehicle and are non-negotiable!! The dealer has to sell you the vehicle for that price, period and per the mfg, dealers MUST show you the invoice if you ask to see it or they risk losing future mfg discounts and rebates. Both also have pre-negotiated prices for doc fees, etc that cannot exceed a certain price regardless of what the dealer normally charges. Years ago I had a dealer that charged an $850 doc fee but we already had a negotiated price of $350 built into our plan so I saved an additional $500!! :1036316054:

Generally speaking, the higher the price of the vehicle the bigger the discount. A $50K sticker priced vehicle could see a $10K discount while a $30K sticker price vehicle may only see a $4K discount. I say “sticker price” because with the discount it comes off the sticker price. Sometimes dealerships run sales which are basically the same as using our plan but you can’t combine the two. You’re still better off using the plan because of the negotiated doc fees, etc.

If you’re trading in a vehicle then that’s where the dealer will try to screw you. They’ll act like they need to “make back” what they lost with the discount but the mfg reimburses the dealership for the discounts so don’t let them fool ya!!

Hope this helps!!

I have bought several Hyundai's. They have a better warranty and they are dependable vehicles. The quality of these vehicles has got better over the years. Most are built in America now.

Regardless of your plan or deal, Do NOT buy anything, but a Ford, No, I don't own a ford, probably never will,
except for 3, 40 coupes, years ago.
As of late, my "F" stock has been taking a beating, so go buy the Ford of your choice, or even better, a good gesture would be, buy one for each family member.
Thanks for your cooperation.

I heard you received some of your certificates from Henry himself.....

I base my car buying on whether the sales staff are in a good mood or not. If they're smiling and friendly - you're getting jobbed.

F-150 are nothing like they use to be. It’s like a Ford Ranger on steroids. Stick with the 250 especially if you feel inadequate in the ***** dept. should help overcompensate for your how shall we say, shortcomings?
