UPS set rear ended a car that suddenly stopped for a fallen tree on I-65 in Clark CO.,IN,

From what I hear from UPS employees the company takes the position that all accidents are avoidable. I don't know how the driver could have anticipated a tree falling across the Interstate. He will live with this the rest of his life though.

UPS driver following too close to 4 wheeler.
Avoidable.
Should not be following closer than 7 seconds minimum with doubles at highway speed.

I confused this with another accident. I thought there was a heavy fog at the time of the crash.
