ODFL | 2019 Freightliner

Tell them to shut up and quit crying. They’re driving some of the best trucks in the ltl industry. Maybe they can go work for reddaway and have a turned up FLD?
Damn, a little cranky today. What happened, the beer got warm, fish weren’t biting, I know, you ran to PDX and had to break 2 sets to make a set. Cheer up, no work tomorrow. Did you see my shiny new Bull sitting over there? I’m getting a new truck again.

hear you wont be able to do your run cuz you can't back up pups with a three axle at one of your stops..maybe go to TS school of truck driving...he can teach you how and don't mess up them landing gears

Don’t need no schooling. Just use common sense. There’s only a few doors at the one end that I won’t be able to do. Still doing the run though. Trust me I didn’t want the twin.

Your new truck gonna be city’s first choice during the day. They love a new tandem,, more axle means bigger the trucker to a dumb dock grad.

Tonight I was getting ready to go home. And they were telling the line drivers to get ready to move out of their tractors.Apparently the 2018 and 19s are going to be leaving California. Not sure why.

Cali uses these trucks for a few months, puts 50k on them and then get another new batch to destroy for the rest of us,,

no, LR, Try SEA.. as soon as we got them new tractors, them newbies that Billy OK'd for hire went right to them. within 1 week, one had the drivers mirror crushed, ane two more had a side faring ripped off, not to mention all the scratches from trees and curbing them tires. We should have kept the columbia's the way these guys tear things up. We looked loke the junk yard for OD...SAD SAD

You forgot the mention 3 trucks was damaged just by one driva.

How's that even possible? No one reports anything. And even when they do nothing happens.
Has one guy damage a couple side fairings on some new trucks.Figured he must be Jack knifing at every place.Couldn't ever pin it on him.Not that any one was trying. He was a POS anyway. Finally got fired for something else.

The first wave of "replacements" RTO sent up were a bunch if 2009 in various states of disrepair.
Then got some 15 and 2016 which were fine. Now after line drivers are getting settled in they are going to swap in another wave of tractors. Many of them we had before when end they were new.

Something to do with the California break time App in the BLU is the latest story.Guess they don't want install it in the newer trucks.

This is so funny! Hope those liberal babies get back some of these junkers they’ve given us in the first place. Heard Cali drivers are spoiled with nothing but new trucks, here’s to driving the crap you trashed in the first place.

So needed a truck the other day and a 2019 I drove pretty regular when it was ours was here. Still pretty tight with 140k on it.Forgot how big that blind spot was from the mirror and door post.

It looks like we're going to get 6 of the 205 series city trucks. Will need them since 6 guys been working the dock due to it being slow. All have autos.

Are all the Cascadia’s still manual shift ? I have a new auto Cascadia at the big E and it looks like everything we are getting anymore is auto. I’m not a fan of automatics at all, though I can put my suitcase between the seats and make a nice bed if needed.

Most are..Seen a new Sleeper that was Automatic here

Auto's??? Oh man. I was hoping to not see the day when OD tried them again. Junk...
This one I have sure does slow me down considerably. Not so much when I’m up to speed on interstates but on the yard and going through stop and go or in town it’s incredibly slow. It’s the same take off speed wether it’s bob tailing or pulling 40k.

Haven't seen any new Cascadians yet this year. Not sure if we're getting any. The talk about the city Tonka trucks is some guys like the auto. And some guys think less fairings (none really) to get damaged. We've had one for a couple years. Our #2 P&D driver loves it.Does take a while to get it going if you're pulling any kind of weight.
