Yellow | Dont Be Bought For $4

They push the equal sacrifice the Last time.... now it's going to close.

Ups freight emptied their whole system of freight..... fear tactics that won them their contract. I know that ups has more money than they know what to do with...

I just don't feel like we are getting the best deal.... I believe we can get more.

Damn Stimpy why don’t you just come out and say you don’t believe a ****ing thing the Union is telling you.
They said a No Vote will likely do us in.
For GODS sake brother what don’t you understand about that.

Bro, with all due respect, the only ones being taken are the ones listening to your bs.
How about every company besides YRC companies can retire at full pension at 57 if you have the years. They be back in a year wanting another MOU because we’re going to screw them good to keep you losers from effecting other shops.

They probably would agree, if you were an old time teamster with an average life expectancy of 13 checks upon retirement.

Do you promise to die in just over a year? If so, you can retire at 57.

I’m planning on 30 years of retirement, funded by my savings, not depending on my pension or Social Security.

Open your eyes and realize that because we have incredible healthcare, we just freakin live too long.

It’s impossible to fund any plan with that type of financial burden.

Wtf are you talking about. There isn’t a single freight company that offers a true pension besides ABF and UPS.AT least around here.
Please provide a list of all these other companies.

Hell why weren’t you gone ten years ago if all these other companies had pensions and you were so upset about yours.
If you are referring to the companies that closed what are we supposed to do about it.

I spouted too soon .Im taking a break from this crap. The only company left is ABF ,are you saying they don’t get penalized retiring at 57.
We need 20 to retire at 57 but we get penalized and we can’t work.

Probably because it's not the 1st Union company of that that I have been locked out of the gate of... not even the second one.... I know that I have trust issues.... I am usually a good judge of character and ernie did not sound sincere.... so yes I do not believe him.... my opinion

I would think being locked out of the gate would make you a believer.

Well, I’ll be selling my house and moving into my 65 International with a camper shell, but I can upload some stuff for you on YouTube. :17142:

I am so happy to be an outsider on all this.
Not gone that long. But I kinda picked lucked out and left at a good time. Knowing that the pension will go kaput. I can live without it.
I planned on it. But I will take what I can while I can. And I don't begrudge anyone who does. If they are able to do so.

Then cut everyone not just me and there’s no problem now let me get back to stripping wires.

Its mind boggling but many are willing..I really can't begin to process information like that..
They aren't being tough they're being ignorant with that mentality.

Pride cometh before destruction.

All good points but I believe the same could’ve been sent to the folks running the show when all this went down and YRC got into this mess in the first place.

We in the West had our pension frozen in 2009. There is no returning to it for ANY reasonable amount of money. It is a fact and nothing can change it.

I know I don’t have a dog in this fight, but I’m still a firm believer that the only way to fix the pension mess this to bind them all together into one great big fund. Sure it’s still not going to be totally funded even then, but it has a lot better chance of surviving than it does now.

WS learned from all of the other’s mistakes.
There are a number of locals east of the Big Muddy who contribute and participate in the Western States Fund.
