Are there any former Viking Freight road drivers on here from Southern California? Ones that worked there in the 90's ???

Back in the early nineties both Viking and Roadway were owned by Roadway Services. During the Teamster strike of 1994 I walked the Roadway picket line in Albuquerque NM. Usually about 2am and usually after consumimg and smoking many mind numbing substances, the rumor would start again. A convoy of Viking equipment is headed towards Albuquerque out on east bound I-40. And they're going to try and get through our picket line. Of course it never happen. But at 2am, you never know.
A Roadway line haul driver use to post on TruckingBoards about running a ham radio on his late night run. And picking up Art Bell on his ham radio and having conversations. Maybe 2am??

I was a Viking line haul driver for one week in 1999 I never got a run the week I was there so I quit.
