Hell, i've had freight picked up by our terminal to be delivered by our terminal that never left our terminal that took a week to deliver.
 
im not saying that i am better than anybody else at all but when i picked up freight i kept an eye out for it. i kinda of considered it my freight, meaning if i saw some dude with a forklift not being careful with it i would let him know it. if i saw it on the dock i would want to know why. because i saw the same customers and would have to explain why.

i hear enough ::shit:: from customers..(well used to now im linehaul)
 
We used to have people like that,who cared. One driver used to break his trailer every night just to make sure it made it to the correct door and didn't get damaged. Now no drivers are allowed to work the dock, inbound or outbound,it goes against driver hours and not dock hours, at least thats the story we get. So we got $13.00 part timers working and destroying freight. Go figure.
