With quotes like "A clean dock is a happy dock" and I'm all about the housekeeping"
This new salesperson, high heels on the dock, probably doesn't know what a trailer is TM they hired is ruining this terminal.

Friends of the VP though , so just have to deal with it.

Its evil the powers that be don't see the horror, "the horror"

I forgot, its not all bad...

We havereally nice woven baskets in the bathrooms, and potpourri, doilies....hmmm

Hey we got a female sales person in RNK she knows her business. Skirts are not bad to have around when they know the business.

I don't deny that

We had a fem dispatcher, and I've seen great at all different jobs, Its just when you put a primadonna, deva, (in her mind), in charge, Terminal manager, its evil.
SHe would be good at sales I'm sure, but not in charge, with that attitude

LOL Hey No need to Thank us at Holland In Pontiac. She was the same way here. She may have been good in her time but it has passed. Good Luck with her. And By the way how is our old dispacher John doing???

Re: Dispatcher,

Hes doing well I suppose, our Dispatcher we had, quit due to TM, just last week, so hes doing more than he first did.
Unsure if hes good at it or not yet.

Hey Toledo

We grew too fast too soon.
We are shipping 300% more freight than 2 months ago.

Companies called Customs and EDI, caused a lot of it. Ugly freight.

When do you draw the line at being a companies distributor as well as there delivery company?

Toledo

This is what happens when you try to run a company with a skeleton crew. For as long as this company has been in business they should be twice the size they are. This is a great company to work for but some upper management decisions leave alot to be desired.:chairshot: :nutkick:

fudog growth is a scary thing have to be careful not to get in over ya head then have a big layoff in slack time. Accounts come and go, you get for 6months and then they're gone. Getting alot of new trailers coming around here. The 48s make it hard at our little terminal. No turning radius one one side, but atleast you have something to secure things to.

Hey so whats up with Miss Jolly? We sure don't miss her in pontiac.Hope John is taking care of you guys. What a tag team.

Jolly is Sales, (hardly seen, nice) Johns a goober, I think his days are numbered. Otherwise new TM, things are great here, 4 TM's in 5 years.

Its a no wonder that Pitt Ohio had to post a statement about being Descriminated against. PJax also about a year or so the same thing. Public record about Pitt Ohio discriminating against women and PJax. Go figure brothers. Its crap like the comments from some about women in dispatch, management, docks, driving. I have been a driver for over 10 years and have an excellent MVR and I know my freight. I take my job seriously. I was trained by my late husband, and up until the last year I have never had any issues with the men drivers out there. But I dont understand why you just cant deal with the fact that we can do the job. Now, I do believe that if you have never delt with a trucking company before then you dont need to be in sales or management. I believe in working from the ground up, you need to know how to drive a semi, work the dock, do the paperwork. But come on guys give it a break. I had a TM which was a man (so he called himself), that never worked for a trucking before he was in the restaurant business and has been the TM for about 7 years now and has no clue about what we go thru out there in the city and line haul, just a numbers pusher. I laugh at him everytime I see him out in the yard trying to back in a 53 with a single axle, 15 min later he is still working on it and i get in the truck cause he is sweating bullets. So you see guys I am not trying to start a war, but there are alot a excellent women in management and in the truck and on the docks. But also remember when WWII was happening, it was the wife and daughter of the solders that were building the planes, driving the freight trucks, working in the many factories. Our planes stayed in the air, groceries made it to the store and it was women doing that. Not only did my husband drive but my brother and my mother and step father drove OTR. In my CDL class that I had to take because of third party testing their were 20 of us, only 4 were women, I scored the highest 99.7% on my test's and scored 99.5% on my pretrip, skills, and road test. The top out of 20. I am not perfect but neither are you or anyone else. Please think twice, would you like it if it was your mother or sister or wife that was being talked about like that? I dont think so. :TR10driving03:

I sure wish people that post info about Pitt Ohio and Pjax would post the right info. The owner's of Pitt and Pjax are cousin's. The companie's are not affiliated with each other.
