ask your TM or your HR person.if you still can't get one pm me your name and i'll send you one.

well now thats funny because theres more crap from the full and partial washes and at my barn they have nothing to catch the waste nor do they put down a tarp!!!

Hey XGO check this out! Very reliable sources say this has been going on for many years at XMD and possibly other terminals.

If the XMD drivers know about this and see it, than Mr. SCM and Mr."excessive comp day" FOM should of been doing something about it!
Oh wait a minute......Palatine, the old Kool-Aid manufacturing plant! I forgot:hysterical:

On-Site Power Wash Operating Procedures Water Collection - Tractors and Trailers
This is total false advertisement! They never ever cover the dang sewer covers, there is waste water run-off galore.
They dump the remaining cleaning solution in the vacant area of the terminal. YES! In the soil. You need to get a spy out there on wash day to see this happening.

Once a month we are destroying our land!
Where is EPA?

I have a copy of the F.A.C. pride Manuel. You can get a copy of the drivers survival guide and the ethics Manuel from your T.M.

Ok a driver I run with was washing his winshield and hit the grill and hood. The tm walks up and said " you are not allowed to wash your truck" driver reply "what about the winshield" ? tm reply " I will leave you guys soap and a brush, and take away the hose" So how do we rinse the soap off the windshield? It appears this TM thinks 3 minutes on his dock is more important the the safety of 75 to 100 drivers. By the way here`s the shocker the terminal is in NE IN. So XGO you may want to have a word. If the hose goes away we will put in a call to OSHA. Thanks in advance for your prompt attention to more dumb actions.

Never heard of paper towels and Windex?? Better yet, try a little Rain-X.....the bugs will wipe off with a dry paper towel. The barn I used to drive out of never had a hose, wash bay or anything else. Have we gotten to the point where people can't complete simple tasks like cleaning a windshield?

good thing you deleted your post grimmace. I don`t think many drivers would care to hear they are lazy. I am betting you don`t get a lot of bug splatter on your sector stand, and I think this tm was abusing his authority since there is a pay code for this. And there is a driver out of my barn that climbs up on the tires cleans his windshield and hits it with rain-x. What happens if he slips and falls? I would think this is against company policy.:hide: not to mention who pays 4 the windex, paper towels, and rain-x what would you like us to pay for next the oil we put in the tractors since we drive them?

YEP. Its all about the EPA, not your TM being a dick. Do some research next time. Just because some barns do and some dont, doesnt take away from the fact that THAT barn does not have the proper drainage for the run-off. The barns with the hoses most likely do.

Like the other guy said, its not about the water, more about what the water is taking with it.

I think it was forcing a driver to clean up a haz-mat spill

no gfy as it turns out it was a tote of kool-aid so the epa lowered the fine and tm ANDY told FOM mike they could afford 1 dozen more doughnuts and they could read the good stuff on trucking boards about them, don`t worry guys there`s enough kool-aid to go around.:1036316054: :hysterical:
