low&slow I don't think any of us didn't have any doubt that we would merge (most of us in cincy any way) sooner or later we were blind sided by the complete closure of the term.with the most freight coming in and out.as for seniority 1990 watkins linehaul
 
Mr. Breeze; I'm sure the closure of Cincy caught everyone there by surprise. That was one of the few terminals that the wife and I enjoyed going to.
I'm wondering when an actual list will be forth coming, but for now, this forum is the only source of reliable info in that regard. Best of luck to ya!
 
Others are worse off and I feel bad for all. but all drivers that made the mistake of transfering to a relay yard such as my self who among others came up to Sidney Jan 2009 Just got screwed by the way the paperwork reads that is now the date of my line haul board seniority. Us up here are told we along with the FXNL drivers in Denver will now dove tail in with
Fed Freight in Denver. So now Fxnl drivers in Den that started after me will now be above me. I may be jumping the gun because we were always under Denver control
never out on our own have to see how they
have to see how they play this one off.

10/2000- Af It really is affecting every center differently. Our center opened 10/2000. They are closing the city operation at FXN in our area and them drivers have the option to move between 3 different Freight centers. I am no. 8. Between no. 1 and no. 10 we all have the most sen. with 10 years and there are only 3 FXN drivers with more sen. that could affect us, but they are bringing 7 road drivers to us and there are 31 FXN road drivers with more sen. than our no. 1 who has 10 years and our longest run of 500 and some miles. So here all of our road drivers (26) are reaaly getting the bone. With talking to some meet drivers it is totally opposite at there terminals. I use to ***** about not having whole barn bids, because there were only 2 road drivers at my center with more sen. than me, but not anymore. I'm lucky to have stayed where I'm at.

I am in that in between place not sure if I will have a job or not it depends on two things how many take the severance that are above me and how many are going to transfer to Columbus.
 
Smokestack I was one of about 15 line drivers in the Reno Terminal they hired within about the Last Month...I kid you not !!!

My wife were thinking about moving to Sparks Nevada and going to Frt or Natl , sheesssss glad we did not do that.

I was the same way looked into going over to national road. Glad I didn't would probably be no chance of me keeping a job now at least I have half a chance.
 
8/94. Where I live there is no National terminal in town so we are not being affected, but will be affected by the new hub being built.
