YouTube - BlueParrott Bluetooth Headset Performance Test

If your all about form rather than function the BlueParrot is not for you, it works the best in a noisy environment of any headset I've used, but sexy it ain't.

Some will say you look like a fast food drive thru cashier or a receptionist, maybe air traffic control. But one thing is for sure it works and that's the bottom line. After all if your worried how you look to the stranger next to you then get a different one for you to wear when you drive around in your maserati ;P

I saw this website on a search, and checked it out. There is a video there that is really cool. There's some skinny guy in front of a truck talking on his bluetooth, you hear all the truck noise from the camera mic, and then what the person on the other end of the phone hears with the blue tooth headset, and then with the guy talking on the regular cell phone. It's incredible!

I use a Platronics PT510 it works just fine in my big White "National" truck with Red and Blue racing stripes. It has it's own volume plus the phones volume too. Sometimes I even have to turn it down. Good Luck !!! By the way you can pick them up on eBay for about 25.00.:smilie_132:

Plantronics v.510 is great it has a noise gate sounds quiet as a greveyard to the person on phone nice and loud for you also 6 hour talk time. I know about 15 drivers that swear by them also.

I have tried them all and Logitech blows them all away! Check out the Logitech mobile traveller, I have recomended it to everyone at my barn and in fact I get them on the internet and sell them. They retail for $79.99 but check ebay, you can get one for about $25 after shipping. I have picked up a few motorola and plantronics for a couple people as well and a couple of them came back and bought a Logitech. One of our linehaul drivers was using a jawbone he paid over $100 for it and he bought a Logitech from me after he talked to some of the other drivers.
I have a jawbone and it is so far the best snaggletooth earpiece I've tried and I have tried several. I have been wanting a good backup to the jawbone and I don't like wired earpieces. If I don't have an earpiece I'll tell you when I answer the phone say what's on your mind I'm not going to be on here long. Read what you had to say about the logitech so I went on ebay and bought one so if it's not all that and a bag of chips I'm sending you the bill.:biglaugh: Your driver that paid over a $100 for a jawbone should of went to cingular or at&t whatever you want to call it and got our discount if he is with them or could of gotten someone that is to I got one for $82 and some change with our 35% discount on acc..

I have a Blue Parrot B150. Works great. I like it because it's an over the head model with a boom mike that is by your mouth. It has a nice soft cushion over your ear. I don't like stuff in my ear. Only beef...little short on talk time. Probably about 3 hours. Got it on Amazon for $86 shipping included.

Had the same issues with mine, call them and they will have you send it in for repair. Mine lasts 10-12 hrs now.

Their customer service was excellent and never even asked for proof of purchase, they fixed mine the same day it was received and sent it back out before close of business.:1036316054:

Blue Parrot

I too have bought one, and am very pleased.

More importantly the people on the other end can't distinguish the difference in headset verses my handset.

Even with my window down driving a K dub.

For 80 bucks can't beat it. This thing even comes with a charger for your truck along with ac charger.

I am proud to own a blue parrot!

10-12 hrs talk time or stand by time. Mine lasts all day on stand by just a little short on talk time. I can't remember what Blue Parrot advertises for talk time. But I thought it was something like 5 hrs. Glad to hear they have good service. Thanks:smilie_132:

I have used many, Plantronics 510 Voyager, Motorola,Logitech Traveler

but the best overall that I have used and use now is a Jawbone

you guys that walk around with that crap in your ear with the flashing lights should go look at your selfs in the mirror or take a picture of your self than look at it.

make your own opinion you don't want to know what mine is.

My experience with the blue tooth is the need to be noise canceling for use in the truck.....

most of the guys at our barn use the blue parrot. sound is awesome

I own a Jawbone Bluetooth headset and the only problem I experience along with my other co-workers who sports these things on our ears is the nasty wind noise.
Stay out of the wind when talking otherwise all you hear is crackling/static. Otherwise, the background noise cancellation is AWESOME!
