I was perhaps a little harsh with Wonderring's very personal choice for his spiritual study and enlightenment. In my quest to become more tolerant of those that practice different faiths - no matter how ridiculous it is, I have acquired a poem from another Truckingboards.com member that does not want to intrude on the Conway forum........... Now there's another demonstration of respect that I can learn from. All I have to do keep my eyes and heart open.

Our Father, who art in Ann Arbor,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy freight will come.
Thy will be delivered,
On earth as it is in Ann Arbor.
Give us this day our daily freight.
And forgive us from our Arrogance,
As we reserve the right to trespass against the workforce.
And lead us not into Unionization,
But deliver us from accountability,
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.

Just reminds me of the arrogance of the past. I guess they didn't learn. I don't drive for conway, but we are all in this together.:smilie_132:

I agree they need to get back to the basics with customers and employees,,,ive seen it in my own terminal,management talks to customers like we are doing them a favor by hauling thier freight,the dave m way of doing business needs to be done away with,that "they will be back" attitude isnt always true anymore

con_way has a dress code... so why is it not followed...just because baseball season opened it doesnt mean some people come to work on monday not properly attired per company policy or am i reading the policy wrong.............

with everything going on youre worried about uniforms?company policy also stated that i would have a pension,401kmatch and pay 1% of my salary for medical insurance,and youre worried about uniforms on this thread
 
the only thing bigger in arrogance is the arrogance of the con dash way freight drivers who think just because they are CON dash WAY employees, the world owes them a meaning...
I work for truckload, and CON DASH WAY, owes me nothing!!!!!!! and if they wanted to give me something(which they never will) i'd most likely say "give it to the cry babies at CON dash WAY freight......"
I did not hire on to be a conway driver i dont want to be a conway driver and having to work for a company like conway is a whole like getting a bj from you sister..!!
it feels good but no satisfaction it the end results

I completely agree with what you said , unfortunatly he had cheney as his v.p. and we did find a weapon of mas destruction there, it was a mortar tube attached to the back of a nissan p.u. to bad it was out of fuel.....
