tuesday 01/01/08 is a paid holiday.what about monday 12/31/07? is that going to be a work day ? i heard another ltl company is giving monday 12/31/07 off with no pay,what about estes

at abf off no payon the 31st but paid for the first!! :smilie_132:
 
damn, great union company like abf and they are screwin over their employees on Monday...that sucks, good thing they got the union to protect the drivers! LOL
 
but abf is a union carrier, you guys should be treated better cause you got protection. all that protection and your still gonna get hosed, wow that must suck paying that money and still getting the shaft

We will probally get the 31 off without pay unless they have freight to move, then you will end up laid over somewhere on the first
 
if u read the memo it says that tuesday the 2nd will be treated like sunday so if you leave out on sunday night you will not leave out untill tuesday night

I'VE WORKED FOR ESTES FOR 10 YEARS.... NEVER HAD NEW YEARS EVE OFF. PAID OR UNPAID. ALTHOUGH IT WOULD BE NICE!!
