This afternoon I was southbound on I678. I looked over at the northbound side and saw a N.P box being pulled by a white tractor. On the door it said Sal-Rob carriers, which is a client of J.P. Associates. Any info?

Sal-Rob is a cartage agent that picks-up loads on 48th St. & 55th Ave. i believe the name of the place is Sun Logistics. why they're on the Van Wyck with our trailer is a mystery to me being that they're sending casuals home and walking the bottom 2-4 lists guys. it's also possible that the idiots at my term. are leaving empty boxes there and allowing them to use it. the sup. in the office used to work for NPME. hmmmmm :chairshot:

Thanks, I didn't know they were from sun logistics. But its crazy, walk 2 casuals but work 2 guys from a cartage company. I don't see the logic in that.

are you sure it's a npme trailer? there are some company's that have bought old npme trailers for use in the city.i see one fairly regular running wesbound on 78 and west bound up 322 in pa. it's green but not owned by npme anymore.looks kinda funny big old tractor pulling little 45' up the highway.don't know the name on tractor but i do believe it is a white colored tractor. weither it is what you saw i dont know, but know for sure what i descibed it could be , is fact.

hey Train, i know what your talking about cause i see alot of trailers that NP sold being used but that cartage co. does pull our boxes every now and then. i just hope that our frt. wasn't in that trailer.

It was a n.p.m.e box. I got a good look b/cause I've seen those old boxes they sold but it was also a box that I pulled a couple days b4. It had to be that cartege company pulling it.

Raibles used to pull our trailers on peddle runs. I think Pitt-Fayette did too here in Altoona. We did put a stop to it but we had to fight with management for a while.

They took our peddle runs that constantly lost money, like Bi-Lo/ Supervalue food distribution center. Where you just tore down and separated product and stacked it onto their skids.
