Its not only the co pays that went up but the prescription cost went up. I just used it yeasterday and my Zetia prescription jumped 10 bucks.
I for 1 am not happy with the new insurance but will hang in there in the hope of things getting better.
Although I am probably deluding myself.
When I started with Eastern 6.5 years ago the insurance was 100% company paid and they paid stop pay, drop and hooks, etc. I have seen many of the pay items deleted altogether for new hires and policies made more restrictive in general for weekend pay, and paid days off.

if you have uhc, you do not have insurance. all you have is a glorified drug prescription card. SAIA went BACK to it after uhc screwed saia the first time. and you are right. it saves your company money, cost the employees more money and LESS health coverage.

Great to hear!

I scheduled a doctors apt, and the receptionist asked me if it was a PPO or HMO. I looked at the card and saw nothing... SO, I called to UHC to find out. They told me it was neither a PPO or HMO, but something called a PS1. And the lady couldn't give me a straight answer as to what exactly a PS1 was.... Grrrrrrrrreat.

Brilliant move to UHC, BRILLIANT!

I just filled 2 prescriptions for the wife today using the new insurance card. It cost 90.00 total for brand names (no generics available yet) under the old insurance they were only 30.00 each.

I for 1 am getting very discouraged.
