I would like to take a minute to thank Jeff fo starting Truckingboards and giving us all a place to share opinions,bicker politics and just out & out voice our gripes and praises at our respective companies and terminals.It seems the IBT had been monitoring Truckingboards as at my local the contract meeting was alot about damage control concerning the "utility driver". It seemed as if someone had been reading these boards and wanted to try and do some major "damage control". Whether they had been or not (I'm betting they had) someone listened and was very concerned. So to TB thanks for giving us all a place to come and share our thoughts.

I agree Snortin......I try to moderate this forum loosely so everyone can get their opinion out there and questions can be asked and answered. Like I have stated before as long as we post by the rules that Jeff has set for us.....this becomes a very informative venue. DS.
 
hey lets not get sentimental now. its not perfect but a lot better than teamster.net.

it would be a lot better if wa4gch was back to give his expertise on radios. but he was banned from certain forums.
 
Your welcome, we just try to run a civil place and discuss things in an adult manner without all the name calling, and we try to be as fair as possible to all, me and my staff discuss all moves we make before we make them.

I agree!! Thanks Jeff for your perserverence in keeping this alive through all the twists and turns for our education, voice, and enjoyment.

Thanks Jeff, been a visitor since yellowfreight drivers. Hate ta break this to you but I'm the Liberal that hangs with Jimmie G.
 
truckingboards removed my post. all i said was not to get too sentimental. as long as the administrators get the feedback that they want they are happy and this board doesn't truely reflex ALL views and opinions and suppresses the idea of free speech

if you remove this post also cancel my account.

Ok since you think we are seeking glory I will explain in further detail why your post was removed.

#1 You are bashing another forum and that is not what we do, we are not the type who gains membership by tearing down another.
#2 You are complaining about how we choose to moderate our forums in regards to members posting off topic stuff in forums after being warned on several occasions being asked not to.
First thing we do is warn the user in a nice way and in private.
If they continue
2nd thing we do is what is called a Forum Ban, this is used to keep a particular member not following the previous warning out of that forum to avoid a total Truckingboards ban. The last thing we want to do is ban members, if you have no members you have no forums.
As far as threatening to leave, thats your option, if you don't like the way we do things, you are totally free to find a forum you like somewhere else on the internet but we don't take Truckingboards bashing well here because these moderators and myself have invested many hours to make Truckingboards what it is, and no member is above Truckingboards and that includes me.
 
Amen....if you want to read personal attacks and venom, go to ********* and have your fill!! These sites are moderated quite well and they already have a huge following and it's growing every day. When you can communicate with people that do the same job for the same company, all across the country, it makes for a tighter Brotherhood. Thanks again fellas.

and exactly which forum did i bash? none PERIOD!!! yes you place yourself above all on this board since you are bias. all i did was make the comment about this post. if you have the courage to place my post for all readers to see they can be the judge of your so called moderating. nothing was posted to break the rules. like i said please ban me and delete all my posts. i Beg you to do this!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE :hysterical:

It seems to me as an adult you might be able to activate a brain cell to just stop coming here. But then again it makes much more sense to whine and cry and seek attention doesn't it?

You must not have any self restraint if you can't resist logging in on the boards just to make a fool out of yourself......LOL
