Look at this way Abf will close if we close there already 11 dollars more than us.If yrcw gets a yes vote fore some reason.ABF s hand will be out to. Do i need the job you bet i do but i need the pension more. And it has already been told to us in the west chuck m will not take 1.75hr to pension all or nothing so the west loses. I would think the central would take any money coming in.
 
UUGH here it is again. Smidt was never Rdwy prior to the purcahse. He was always Yellow.

I stand corrected, but Roadway's OR under Smid, was still better than Yellow's OR, and there is truth in the fact that Smid was a freight guy and not just a pencil pusher

I would disagree that he is an improvement. After the merge I had to deal with Yellows Safety,Labor, and Sales. Culture shock! Big time!
 
Unnecessary petty things don't match his letter. Whoever came up with the 10 minute break was a complete idiot. That's what turned my YES into a NO. I can stomach everything else (sorta), but when they threw that in it felt like a complete stab in the back after all we've given up. I'm still voting NO because of that. I'm not changing my mind either. Sorry.
 
ANY ONE telling us to vote yes who is an "office worker" for the greedy rats ie Mike Smid should be fired on the spot WHEN WE VOTE NO! they are putting bs in to our heads so we say yes to all the nonsense they say.

You really don't have a clue do you? Who is going to hire you? Right now every damn company out there has people on layoff status. Should a surplus of freight hit the open market those companies will bring their own back before even thinking about accepting applications. And once they do start hiring there will be plenty of people who don't have YRC on their resume who will be looked at first. Why would a company want to hire a disgruntled EX-TEAMSTER when they can hire someone younger without a union background. You guys relaly have no idea what you're talking about.

I took a 12 min break once..they had me in the office for stealing time
