Yellow | those of you voting no r u really yrc employees/teamsters

if anything id say the yes voters are managment types .im on the dock and talk to yard and road drivers .havent met a teamster yet who told me hes voting yes except our teamster representatives that is.

Dreamer! Most sheep will never be able to find a time when they should stand up and fight. Same lame excuses for cowering that we heard the last concession vote.

Ok so your voting, big deal. What part of that statement is standing up or fighting? All you did was vote man, like your suppose to. Have you ever had to stand up and fight for this union? Looks to me like your the one cowering behind this job while you do nothing but complain about it? Why have you not stood up and faced this evil empire and saved your dignity and pride a long time ago and QUIT! Thought so.

there are 3 basic types of people in the world sheep, wolves, and sheepdogs. The majority of people are sheep, they are good people and don't have a capability for violence they will only defend themselves in extreme situations. Wolves are the predators out there thieves, loons, etc... they have a capability for violence and...to protect the sheep you gotta catch the wolf, and it takes a wolf to catch a wolf. I mean let Tyson the sheep dog worry about the wolf before the wolf mauls you and eats you up bad

I'm gonna eat you up bad if you don't give me my freaking dime

Let us think back, was the first concession vote to save 40,000 union jobs. The second was 35,000 union jobs, now the third vote is to save 25,000 union jobs.Hell I`m getting tired of saving jobs! We have lost 15,000 with the concessions, and they need more??What books are they looking at,it has gotten worse with all the concessions?? What and the hell books were they looking at the first time??

The most honest, true statement that's been posted so far on this board.
In 6 months we can vote again to save the last 10,000 jobs to move equipment around to auction points.

Am I really a teamster ? More so than all the old mesters that have been working 60 and 70 hours a week on the dock here. You think these guys who think they are teamsters give a crap about any of their brothers below them on the board. At our meeting all the questions were about me,me me. Of course, all the answers were ..... we don't know. I will say that our local president told us he would vote no, although clarifying that he can't tell us how to vote. At least he had the balls to admit this is a bad deal. I say screw em all !!!! Why give more and more when they have proved that this management group couldn't run a lemonade stand. They tell us to try and stay positive and keep plugging on for the customer. These are the same people that let freight sit for days before delivering it.
My vote is NO !!! Enough is enough. I survived before YRC and I will survive after YRC. Our pension is swirling in the porcelain and about to be flushed for good. Anyone that is thinking this pension plan is going to be around in coming years is delusional. The best part is all these mesters working 6 and 7 days a week probably won't ever see their pensions either. What a shame (sarcasm). This is a bad deal any way you look at it. Its the end of the union either way. If it passes, it opens the contract and the company will shred any other of our rights that may be left. If it doesn't pass, then they file bankruptcy, maybe, but we don't know for sure because of all the past lies. By the way didn't we strike in 94 to stop this 4 hr part time crap.
I'm sure that the IBT will tell us it passed anyway, probably before they ever see a ballot. Also having IBT people on the board is a joke in its self. As a union don't we have the right to strike ? I believe we do. So isn't having union reps on the YRC board actually a conflict of interest ? Just a thought. This whole deal could end up in court.

I have been working with teamsters over 40 yrs.I HAVE been a working teamster for 37 with roadway-yrc.I have two more years until I can retire. So I think I have earned the right to say my thoughts because of what I have seen and been in over the years. How many of you can say they have been in fights on picket lines,I have .How many of you can say gypsies run over you while on pickets line I have .so until you cry babys become men we will lose. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A vote NO is like being mortally wounded, and with your dieing breath, you take aim and kill the one that killed you!

You forgot to mentiuon it also makes the nons alot of money, you know, the guys you work for. What will you do with your time when the YES goes through and theres no more poison left to loose around here on the YRc men?

i think you got it backwards . i think its the yes's here that are the nons and managment types.by your own word i guess a no will make the nons stronger and more money so i guess there will be better jobs out there after this dump goes belly up.
for myself freight is not my life . its just a job and i will find another but make no bones about it .... it wont be moving freight now thats a guarentee

The reason that we are voting no is because we ARE TEAMSTERS. I cant believe you even ask that question. How spineless can people be? People are willing to just abandon all their precious work rules because of why??? Uhh?? What??? Oh yeah... I remember, the company said they want you to....ha ha ha haaaaaa...are you serious? Thats all it takes for some people to just drop it and run jump in the boss's lap? OMG? Think about it? who is the Teamster? The one who is still willing to stand up for our Teamster work rules? Or the coward who just says "ok ok ok take whatever you want just Please let me keep my job"??? You people dont even deserve to be known as Teamsters.
Paycut? we will consider it. Throwing away everything that has been fought for, and earned by other Teamsters for decades? Not on my watch!

Stop and think what it means to YOU to be a TEAMSTER. It may not mean anything. But to some of us... It means everything. That is the difference.

Some are full of crap...What good are the work rules with no job? Alot of pride goes into the decision to give them up forever....which is what a "no" vote does from what we've heard.. By voting 'no' you are quitting, not fighting...This is not ABF they had plenty of money we do not...and how long do ya think they will keep them payrates and workrules without 30,000 backing them up...Sometimes fighting means to give in for now....some of them UFC fighters do alot of damage on there backs...sometimes they even get a tapout from the floor on there back.

slavenomore??? That's an understatement. Voting Yes would be contributing to slavery, IMO.

Longblade...just an observation but your image indicates a "Yes" vote. Two negatives always make a positive...just saying
