Ran into a L.H. driver at a small dark terminal yesterday. Driver said they all watched a FedEx video the night before. A Mgr. told male drivers with hair below collar that soon it will have to be cut no longer than collar length, and male facial hair will not be permitted. Not yet official. Is anyone gonna tell some of the office ladies to shave their mustaches, and side burns? If they can keep theirs, we should be able to keep ours. Isn't that Diversity ? Can anyone verify this rumor ? :nutkick:

Can NOT confirm but it sounds like the stupid rumor that was going around about how they were going to charge sales tax on the 10yr safe driving ring. We just had the H R rep and the district manger here and nothing like that was brought up. Why ( not you ) but why do drivers start these stupid rumors. I can see them saying how you will wear the uniform and what is acceptable to wear but that is where it will end.:smilie_132:
 
I know of one female (not a lady) in cinl that would be in trouble

At a round table I attened recently this tax roumor on ten year rings,rolex,diamonds,etc came up. this was from my tm's boss( a purple shirt!) really he had a,PURPLE, shirt on. So what he said must have been true.

Seems a former employer treaded a leagle fine line on taxable gifts. They never taxed these rings,rolexes,and diamonds.

Leageally it's concidered taxable income.
Fedex, dotting all its i's and lower case j's,taxes these gifts to walk a strait narrow line with the "I_ntergrated R_egulated S_ewer!!!" frank
 
I just got back from my obligatory "Early Return to Work" after injury 2 hour shift and was told by the LH manager that they will start enforcing the dress code.

He pointed out that all polo shirts will be tucked in and all button down shirts will be buttoned up and not worn as over shirts. I guess they want to see how fat we are and how much dunlap we have.:butthead::butthead:

I heard that pre trip uniform inspections will be conducted.....:deal: No dispatch paperwork will be handed out unless in compliance with da rules...........
