I think the whole energy thing is why John McCain chose Sarah Palin as his running mate.
 
Gas prices in my area

Around St. Louis Mo we are looking at $3.37 for Unleaded & $3.89 for Diesel. Just across the river in Granite City Ill it is running $3.59 for Unleaded & $4.19 for Diesel.:smilie_132:
 
I actually saw Gas today for only 3.69 for Regular. Really good for out here in this liberal Nirvana.

As of 9/11/08 Here in St. Louis Mo. it has already jumped back up to $3.69 for Unleaded and Diesel has come down to $3.85. This is in a matter of 5 days.:chairshot:
 
In my neck of the woods reg jumped 20 cents today, and that's after a barrel of oil drop to around $102 .Speculation, about the huricanes in the Houston area!!!
 
The price at my local gas station has jumped over 25 cents, since yesterday morning and there are lines out in the street..............crazy!! DS.
 
gas @ $4.30 in thomasville,nc this afternoon....up .70 from yesterday....a little pre-hurricane price gouging....
